  So a JW can date an unbelieving person...

  but the entire congregation is not to be informed or mark the person.

  the only repercussions are that the individual who is aware of it can decide to "mark" them and not go to the local club or bar with the individual, but they are still obligated to go door to door in the ministry with them, and even speak to them at the kn as if nothing is wrong and not feel obligated to tell anyone else?

  this is crazy.. so they are also basically saying that a person can carry on a romantic (but none sexual) relationship with an unbeliever and still go out in service and participate in meetings?

  My family went through this in the 90's, and she was not allowed to give talks, go out in service and she was definitely marked as a talk was given about not dating an unbeliever. My father was a ministerial servant at the time was told that if he continued to let her live in the house while she dated a "worldly" person, he would be removed as a servant.

  This resulted in her being put out of the house and she ultimately had to move in with the guy and his mother. The circuit overseer even came by our home to chastise my father about this with 2 other elders. So as far as I remember this has not always been the case.

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

  I’ve never attempted to knock on his door, and to be honest, I don’t think it’s something that I would do. I mean, I was at Bethel and I’ve eaten at his table 4 or five times granted it was over 20 some odd years ago, but it would seem rather strange.

  I would appear to be some kind of stalker, and I’m definitely not. It’s just that I happen to go by his neighborhood on the way to a tractor supply that’s near him.

  Yes, the other home is literally right around the corner and there’s never been a car there and you can see directly through it because the places are basically just new construction tract houses.

  At the Home that’s supposed to be theirs. There is literally a garden chair that’s pushed directly up under the door handle of the house and it’s been there since October so unless they’re going out to the back door all the time and have a different car and refuse to drive the Cadillac, they are not there

  I have driven by his house on my monthly trips to the tractor supply and his Cadillac has been in the exact same spot and there is a lawn chair that remains consistently up against the front door.

  There is a massive medical center less than 1 mile from his home so he could be sick and in a care facility. Maybe he is staying somewhere else but something very strange is going on.

  hi brothers/sisters my name is victor, recently in move to dubai for job reasons, during the last 3 weeks i have been trying to find a congregation or brothers to contact with them because i would like to go the meetings and continue my personal study, but i hasn't success.. if anybody here have some contact in the united arab emirates or know somebody that have it, i will appreciate a lot that can help me to contact with them.. thank you!.

  It’s funny this is brought up. When I was at Bethel in the 1990s in the “office furniture department” my overseer called me and another guy to his office to take care of a very sensitive project. Lol

  We were told we had to move a file cabinet from 30 Columbia Heights to an actual vault in the tunnel of 124 Columbia Heights which is literally down the block.

  We were escorted by 4 brothers who handled night security at the 30 Columbia Heights building. The cabinet was duct taped, shrinked wrapped and a chain run through the handles of the cabinet with a lock between the links.

  We were told that it contained the records and correspondences of brothers and the congregations records of those in areas the work is banned and under persecution.

  Was this march down the block with this cabinet overkill? Definitely, but they took that shit seriously.

  Im not going to lie, I saw some witnesses today out in the ministry and one of the women had a pair of black business slacks, black shades on, nice heels and a sport coat.

  A small bag that wrapped around her shoulder and she was holding the bible behind her back resting it on her backside. I looked at them from my car window and smiled. She smiled back and so did her partner. I then realized this is going to lead to alot of sisters attracting men they otherwise would not.

  I dont think they thought this through
