Surely part of the freedoms granted to American citizens is the right to vote to be represented, or the right not to? The American public cast (or did not cast) their votes, as they saw fit.
if lets say both candidates are criminals than it is not much of a right now is it? and if the US public votes for bush for invading iraq because of WMDs than i have to question the ability of the average american to cast an educated vote in the first place.
No system is perfect, but they have a form of proportional representation that is greater than (for example) the British one.
the few remains of the past such as the house of lords seem to be powerless as far as i can tell (fox hunting for instance). but i know too little about british politics to really comment on it.

as far as i know i have not claimed to know how the list was compiled. also i have not claimed it to be infalluable as i showed to you in the above quotes.
if you have the time why don't you look up the biographies of the people on the list and check whether they are jewish or not.

as i stated several times and showed to you in the quotes above i view it is highly unlikely that the composition came about purely on qualification - as this would mean that the average none jewish american is either considerably mentally inferior to the average jewish person or is not aware that people can apply to these positions.

since you obviously missed it i will repeat what i said previously regarding the list:
here is a widely published list of jewish cabinet members under clinton. let me know if you find this list misleading or inaccurate.
if you can show that several of the people on the list should in fact not be considered jewish than i will gladly change my standpoint on the issue.
i would assume the list is based simply on religious affiliation as several of the names (berger, albright etc.) would not strike me as particularly jewish. if you find that several members of this list are in fact not jewish or that jews contributed considerably less than 50% to clinton's administration let me know.
in regard to the jewish cabinet members i also stated throughout this debate:
perhaps you can come up with an alternative explaination to the distribution of clinton's administration...i am open to suggestions.
i am very open to a better explaination of their representation among important positions
therefore the most likely explaination is strong support between members of the jewish community. if someone can come up with a reasonable alternative explaination for this distribution please let me know.

My point is that through religion, surname or birthright you have a broad definition of what constitutes a Jew.
Based on that definition you make an attack on the constitutionally agreed makeup of the USA leadership.

the germanic genepool in the US has not been siding with germany in the past. Thus i don't care about its contribution to the US gov. Also let me say this, if you do not prefer a US gov. that sides with your country than you are at best an idealistic fool.
To the second part of your sentence - the jewish contribution is way more unproportional than the germanic or any other and it causes the US to side with jewish interests in the middle east and elsewhere whether justified or not. Also if 50% of leading positions are taken by a minority of 5% then this naturally means that other qualified people are excluded from these positions. Therefore i have a problem with it.
If other groups have a problem with an unproportional germanic influence and pro german attitude of the US gov. (which i cannot discren at this point) than it is their very right to protest it.
