The fact that most of the older "brothers" were quite out of shape and "porky"

The particular part that stuck out in the program to me is on Friday afternoon at 4pm.

What more proof do you need that they replace Christ with an organization of men? What further evidence is required that they are DESPERATE to retain the flailing amounts of youth they DO have in their members? Truly pathetic if you ask me.

Why do Jehovah's Witnesses lie to recruits?

first let me say this.. i have constantly been hearing of the legendary honesty/intergity of the jehovah's witness for some time now.

i have also been informed that they are the happiest people on the entire earth.. my problem is this:.

when a jehovah's witness comes to your door and you actually decide to give them a few moments of your time they never give the whole story as to what you would be getting involved with when you join the watchtower.. case in point.

Both were childhood friends from my former congregation who remained JW in name, and although committing fornication and every other young adult sin... still believed the JW doctrine. Both ironically are sons of current elders.

The most important point is they were open to possibilities.

Once I showed them the UN scandal and gave them the documents in hand.. then from there proceeded with old bound volumes and contradictions on organ transplants, shunning, rape, blood, generation, Russell gravesite, etc... the floodgates were opened and they DA very quickly.

My case is only one of many. Silently and unadmittingly, the numbers are waning and fast.

The "15 minute" arrangement and the new procedure of the PO collecting time slips instead of the field service box are testament to this.

The WTBTS is desperate not to report decreases, especially in the country where the "WORLD HEADQUARTERS" of "GODS ONLY TRUE ORGANIZATION" is located.

To the WT official who most likely monitors this site, because you HAVE to have knowledge of your opponent in order to survive... you are going down. Each individual can make a difference, and I have encouraged the people I helped make an exit to try with all their might to help someone they know to make an exit. The numbers multiply.

The WTS will be radically changed to mainstream or nonexistent in my lifetime. With so many screw-ups so readily available in documentation to prove this.. they have no choice.

I can say personally I have helped 2 "born and raised" JW make an exit using the UN scandal as the initial conversation piece.

It may not appear so blatantly to the naked eye yet, but the WTS is in serious trouble. The older generation unwilling to stare reality in the face are dying off, and the young breed are exiting handfuls at a time.

They Stole My Sign!

i have a sign in my front yard on a main highway.

it reads, "no child molesters, www.silentlambs.org".. last night evidently, someone took the sign.

now i live one mile from the kingdom hall, do you think it could have been jw's?

I am inclined to agree with teejay here.

While all of us would like to believe it was without a doubt the JW who stole the sign.. do you really have proof?

While they possess legitimate reason to steal the sign, it does not make us any better than them to pass judgment and automatically be certain it was the local JW who committed the theft.

After thinking about this with my head and not my heart, it could just as easily have been mischievous teens pulling a prank. I know, I was a teen not too long ago

Now, interestingly, if you DO get ANOTHER sign with the phrases you suggested above, and it is stolen AGAIN... then I believe we would have sufficient reason to believe this was intentional and not a random act of teenage practical jokers.

As always, I highly admire your work Bill Bowen. We need more men like you. Keep up the good work.

You or I are not the enemy here. We have to remind ourselves of that fact from time to time when we get passionate over trivial things.

The reality that many of us have been hurt in one way or another by the JW religion is what has attracted the majority of us to this discussion board.

Being members of a religion where if you speak your educated, independent mind freely you are condemned for being "haughty", "devilish", and "wicked".. it is more than understandable why we so often get defensive when we make a stand for what we believe.

Not counting the fact that so many people here have either been molested and then shunned for "slander" when reaching out for help, lost immediate family members over the shunning issue, wasted years of their precious lives being deceived, or now live in poverty because of the discouragement of education for many decades.

The above is sufficient reason for any person to be infuriated and quick to defend themselves.

All I seek is the truth. The men and the women as a majority on this website have been or continue to be hurt for far too long.

I for one cannot stand by idly and let someone be purposely hurt in another unnecessary way.

You were forgiven by me long before you posted it.

I too apologize as I did before for any harsh words spoken. I am a victim of the WTBTS as well, for even now I have no relationship with my brother or my 1 yr old nephew. Being told by your own blood how unfortunate it will be by Armaggedon to have to explain to your deceased grandparents why you will not be there is hard to contend with. I have long since accepted the unfortunate loss and moved past my family members who are content to remain in their dream world because it provides a security blanket and shelters them from reality. That does not mean at times I am not bitter.

If a person is not proactive to help others, no action will be done. How often do people out of fear of personal harm avoid doing the right thing? I promised myself long ago I would not be one of those individuals. That is another reason I have little patience for people who reregister here under multiple identities with the intention of deceiving someone. When said individuals either maliciously insult specific people when they have not been provoked, or purposely deceive and try to make money off someone else in a scam.. it is just not tolerable in my book. (these people know who they are, as I am sure most of the board does)

Sorry, this post got lengthy and I rambled. I guess I felt the need to speak my mind. Apology heartily accepted refiners, and if I could I would give you a hug ((((refiners)))) I would.
