waiting, I am flattered. Are you saying that we could have one of those wondrous female bonding sessions wherein we join forces to bash some poor, unsuspecting, dunder-headed male?
Wow!

Carmel....you are a wimp. And to quote Scarlett O'Hara....."Wheuh shall I go? What shall I do?"

My dearest Frenchy....welcome back! In your absence we have slain dragons, righted wrongs, and generally bitched and moaned our way through the weeks without you.
Carmel has acquired a diner, complete with snitty waitresses 7 and Puppylove, nasty cashier, Waiting, and various and sundry characters frequenting the place. I, of course, am the untamed fiery beauty (who unfortunately smells horsey), and RCat is our resident vamp.
june 15,2000 watchtower on page 7 we find a nice picture of four people sitting in a park (with the traditional basket of fruit).
under the picture they state: "why not envision yourself already enjoying peaceful and rightous conditions in paradise?".
the fact is that the watchtower society has not been able to deliver on their promise of a new world order so, just pretend!.
Why fake it? Just leave the BOrg, find yourself some kind-hearted, open-minded people with whom to associate, surround yourself with animals and plants, and rejoice in being alive....today!
another fact: "know jehovah.
do we really, "know jehovah!
do we "know jehovah!"?.
RCat, I'm sure it's that we must know Jehovah. I'm sure of it.

Ack....the link didn't work, 7.
Waiting....all right, fine.....smelly horsey. However, let's do it right.....
"She glistened (women always glisten) with perspiration. She had been galloping across meadows lush with wildflowers upon her magnificent red steed. The raw untamed scent of nature in all its abandon was upon her. She deftly tapped a clod of manure from her rugged paddock boot, and shook her hair free from the confines of her USET-approved Troxel helmet. Unfortunately, helmet hair remained."

Waiting, I swear you should get a job in Hollywood as a casting director.
However, just a small correction in the characterization. The red horse is a spirited palfry, groomed to perfection, redolent of morning mists and fresh-cut grass...while I, his rider, am attired in elegant breeches and jacket, with tall leather boots polished to perfection. (However, I AM prone to "helmet hair").
The rest, however, is totally accurate.

Well, the role of bickering waitresses is taken, as is the role of hag at the cash register. Guess that leaves me the role of beautiful, sophisticated traveler on her way to wondrous adventures, stopping at the hole-in-the-wall diner to try to connect with her roots.

AhHah, I like your analogy. I've come to think of this place as family also. But just as in any family, things can at times be misunderstood, or people may get cranky...or PMSy....
I don't always respond to the Biblical Research discussions. While I find them interesting, I pretty much burned out on Biblical discussions while active. I find that now I just can't get into these things again.
Please don't leave. You've posted some very interesting things....and I loved your poetry.
