  my wife and sons don't know how far i have gone in withdrawing from the organization in my heart.

  i've been faking family worship.

  i got angry and almost showed it while watching the march tv.org.

  does anyone remember those 2 songs and that movie specifically being mentioned in the watchtower?

  they were"bad" and should be avoided.

  How about ac/dc ( rumored by witnesses to be short for antichrist devil child lol).

  i know someone who walked out of the little mermaid because of Ursula (there's a witch in it!!!)

  and someone else who turned off Sesame Street for her kids, because in the end Elmo sings the Elmo's world song...which is to the TUNE of jingle bells! And sure jingle bells isn't specifically about Christmas but it's ASSOCIATED with christmas!!

  i have always thought that the members of the governing body are just a decorative elements in the visible cusp of the organization.

  i have read conspiratorial topics about who really rule, but they are not visible.

  Yeah just read crisis of conscience to see it really is just the governing body. But now like cofty said, lawyers and business consultants and accountants are giving recommendations for how to stay financially afloat and work on their public image.

  I hope I'm not ignorant about things here, but it seems to me that almost all homosexual men are born gay. Most lesbian women seem also born gay, however it seems in addition to that, other women make this choice themselves as they get older, to be with another woman as opposed to a man, usually due to bad experience with men and wanting to be with someone more similar to themselves. This sort of woman will sometimes go back to seeking males. I haven't seen the same thing happen much with men, although bisexual men usually choose one way or the other in midlife and tend to stick to it.

  is there any evidence that men EVER 'become' homosexual due to 'nurturing'? I haven't seen this. let me know if you know otherwise.

  That people are born gay has always been obvious to me. That they can never have a companion has always been a cruel idea to me. Born to be lonely forever! that is what is unnatural!

  I didn't leave because of this issue, no. But I have to say that this issue is what caused my daughters to realize the society Is bigoted and that they never want to go back. They both have boyfriends, but my daughter was president of the gay awareness club in high school. My second daughter, who was mentally loyal to the org, said 'well they're stupid then' when I told her witnesses disfellowship gay people and that issue alone made her finally decide to move on.

  hatred of homosexuality is the new racism. Witnesses better chage their doctrine before they are looked upon like the KKK by the general populace.

  Never a JW, I wish that were true. I said 5 1/2 because i really do feel more imperfect than most and was being honest. Many people in my life call me an 'angel' and I can't deal with that because it's so inaccurate...they just don't know the other side.

  i recently read a quote of lemony snicket: (paraphrased) .....people are like Cobb salads. A chopped up mix of good and bad stuff just trying to sort through their own mess and confusion.

  but it seems that some of the "new" new songs have been leaked by somebody at bethel.. just a bit of a warning, do not click on that vocal rendition of song 142... it is awful.

  They spend so much effort trying to make you feel CONSTANTLY guilty in the first place, for never doing quite enough to merit your salvation....then when you finally have had enough, they try to use guilt to get you back in...no doubt saying ' you will be forgiven!!' Um, maybe for two minutes, till the cycle starts again.
