Question for atheists and nonbelievers
by pressman ini profess to teach the truth to you all and get you to all to think and believe.
believing in christ through his words and not through evil religious cults, like hoj and jw, can and will save you.
do you all realize that every time you are victorious and receive something of value through your hard work and sweat, it was our holy god who blessed you.

Pressman I found your post annoying, and I'm christian. 'I profess to teach', 'I want you all to know' etc, you do come across as very arrogant, one who sees themselves as somethin' pretty dang special. And you should know that this stuff never converts atheists. -

How many here gave up having a family for the sake of the "truth"?
by stuckinarut2 inthis is a sensitive topic for many of us i know, but i am wondering how many here actually gave up the idea of having a family "in this system" for the sake of "kingdom activity or service"??.
start the count here with my wife and i.

Well, I guess even though worldly people are getting more educated and resistant to indoctrination, they are getting new converts somehow!
When we had children two years apart, a cool elder used to tease us 'that's not what was meant by 'go therefore and make disciples!!''

People who a couple of decades ago waited to have children were probably thinking about the limits of the "generation" and thinking it wouldn't be long until they were in the new system and having kids. With that "generation" becoming more obfuscatory, i wonder if more are having kids now? -

I would remind her about the hard times you both went through, and that you were by her side through all her issues and turmoil, and how happy you have been since being 'free' together, and now this feels like she is separating from you, punishing you, and you don't deserve it. You have been her total rock this whole time and now it feels like she is burying you. Just be open with her about how depressed this is making you and you want the life you had known together back. Don't argue witness issues, she doesn't care if they're wrong. Appeal to her emotions. But it's still her decision and I hope you will support her either way, and she will probably even out over time, like others have said. The cong is happy to see her back now, but they will probably start neglecting her again and she's going to see how burdensome it is and remember what she likes about staying home with you. -

In Case Witnesses Didn't know..............
by The Searcher inwatchtower july 15 2015 p.11 pars.
"your share in contributing to the spiritual paradise".
18 it is an honor to be allowed by jehovah to contribute to the beauty of our spiritual paradise.we do that by zealously preaching the kingdom good news and making more disciples.

Also, your wife is mourning her mother and wants to see her again in paradise. She may not believe everything, but I'm thinking she's hoping that part is true.
I can sympathize with you Eden...if my husband started becoming a witness again I would want to die too. I don't know what I would do. It would be tempting to give him the ultimatum of the religion or me. But even if he chose me, forcing him to choose wouldn't be healthy. You must be so frustrated. I agree with other posters to be patient. Let her go through her mourning, that will get easier in a couple of years, or she may well experience some annoying pressure or hatefulness first. Meanwhile YOU loveBomb her like the new poster Tasmanian said.
its a shame she never did further research on the religion, that makes all the difference. ....maybe if she doesn't start turning back, you will make peace with it like many posters here have. One day at a time.
