A comforting thought

i have not been on the board in a long time, and as i started reading some of the posts, i could not believe how many new faces or names have appeared on this site.

it is certainly alot more than i could count.

it builds more confidence in me, that the other have of my immediate family will open their eyes.

I left a few years ago because after a lifetime of doubts, it was finally time to start living my own life, and I didn't want my kids to be pressured to get baptized and repeat the cycle of guilt/obligation, and I had found Christ and wanted to go to a different church and could not pass the bread and wine at another memorial. Those three reasons.

I do hope there is a mass awakening, and with kids growing up with things like the Hunger Games and standing up to institutions that do NOT have your best interest at heart, but their own agendas, and seeing the intolerance and stupidity of the highest up members for your own eyes, instead of thinking they are some super wise mystical men, and some realizing the attempted mind control of Caleb and Sophia for small children, and the org flip flopping on so many teachings, and so many people hurt by their practices and doctrine...and through all of this, a great lack of love, and only backbiting and judgment, people should be waking up, or at least slacking off.

so the wtb&t$ have either intentionally or unwittingly exposed their hand in this mornings wt indoctrination article.. this is a direct quote from par.

"regardless of how long we have been in the truth, we must tell others about jehovah's organization.

" the question is, "what obligation does psalm 48: 12-14 place on us?".

I don't understand what the 'regardless how long we have been in the truth' part is trying to convey. Anyone have any ideas? Like, maybe if people have been a witness a long time, they know they're supposed to direct people to Jehovah, but they better direct them to the org?

well it was a circuit assembly but basically the same thing.

imitate jehovah in your family using resources wisely was one of the parts.

they basically said don't buy a new cell phone so you can give more to "jehovah".

Do you really need that brand name peanut butter? Could you not buy generic and give the extra money to Jehovah?

August Study WT "Prepare Now to be a Good Little Drone in the New Order"

i thought paradise was supposed to be a delight?

not according to the august study wt, on page 20 paragraphs 4-12 it outlines how much paradise will be exactly like being in the org today.

still following rules, waiting on jehovah and obeying those taking the lead.

If they keep up this idea of the new system actually being a police state, this whole religion will lose any last hints of luster. What the heck will anyone have to look forward to?
