The GB still haven’t done a U turn on vax mandates for all theocratic schools. The data is obvious now it’s harmful but they continue to insist on these harmful jabs.

The GB are definitely causing division. I have heard of some going to schools who haven’t kept up with boosters and in fact haven’t had any boosters for over a year, and others on the school getting irate that they had to get boosted just before the school.

Other examples of folks who had not taken any they were fully unvaccinated and the CO pressured them to go and get three before the pioneer school or SKE or Kingdom ministry school.

there is confusion over what fully vaccinated means, to some if it’s been six months since your last shot then you are no longer fully vaccinated.

The coordinator has been told to check with everyone planning on attending any school and report to the CO. He then reports to the branch who report to the GB.

Im amazed they still haven’t done that long expected U turn.

the numbers of people who can’t go to the schools will increase as it’s been longer than six months since last jab

Predict JW life in future

a sister said the other day at the ministry group “”what is all this talk that the end is still some way off” she said she has been waiting for decades and she was told there is no way it would take this long.

some others said in an annoyed kind of way yes they would have made different decisions decades ago if they knew the end still would not have come by 2023.. how will the majority react in a few more decades time when the end still hasn’t come?.

why all that talk of sense of urgency decades ago?.

the situation is many of us are PIMA and all putting on a front, sometimes saying something we don’t fully believe. Or at least are actually agnostic about but a hope that it’s true.

but it can be useful if someone is really going through a hard time or has something they are very worried about, to say things like well let’s hope there is not much longer of this old system.

This can be useful in an awkward situation where you just don’t know what to do or say. It’s a little bit of hope that can help when there is nothing else.

My agnosticism just means I won’t look back over decades thinking I wasted my life. You can still have hope being agnostic and this hope is somewhat comforting.

If you believe in evolution there is no possible hope at all everything is pointless and without purpose.

I don’t think the GB are right about everything but I have hope that the Bibles promises may have some truth to them.

This leads to the question are you better off having a little bit of hope, than nothing at all? Are you better off believing something that may not be true? Ignorance is bliss?

I have come to the conclusion that even if evolution is true, for me being agnostic and sitting on the fence having a little bit of hope in the Bibles promises has advantages.

As long as you don’t look back over your life feeling you wasted any of it. Live life to the full and being comfortable with the fact that we may never know the entire truth until the day we die. But that little bit of hope there is better than nothing at all.

that’s where I’m at. Better off PIMA than POMA or POMO.

maybe they mean depending on how vile depends on if they are given a bit more time.

if it’s the Dali Lama kissing young boys and asked them to suck his tongue then he will be destroyed before such a vile thing happened.

If it’s someone struggling with something that Jehovah hates then maybe they will be given a little bit more time and some may indeed be able to change

@ ExBethelite - you are merely repeating your assertion that there is no contradiction with the two statements in the WT, but haven't answered the question:

Do you believe (based on WT dogma) that during the millenium people will be practicing evil deeds? (the act of doing something regularly or repeatedly)

A simple 'yes' or 'no' will suffice

Im agnostic so can’t answer yes or no. Agnostic means you can’t ever know for sure if it’s intelligent design or chance at the very start of everything.

I can’t answer yes or no to if I believe in God or the Bible.

Zoom has been great at getting to know others in far flung congregation’s

I think the org wishes they hadn’t opened that can of worms

some folks are invited to join other groups someone who knows someone

I have joined zoom ministry groups of a friend of a friend it’s like a big party

nobody actually writes letters that is just a front for chatting to people all over the world

We should all sarcastically say to all JWs we ever meet “Jehovah was so good giving clear direction to be fully vaccinated. Don’t listen to all these conspiracy theories from Satan that the vaccine is not safe and effective. Jehovah knows it is safe and effective and don’t listen to Satan’s world saying tens of millions of people are dying from blood clots and other vaccine related deaths. That just can’t be true because the direction from Jehovah is still to keep taking these vaccines”

until the direction changes all JWs have been taught to follow direction and keep taking these boosters
