my grandfather who has been dead for 37 years would not recognise the borganisation today.

he would turn in his grave if he knew the end didn’t come by 2023.. back in the 1970s he really believed in the 75 thing.

Very similar to the modern day muslin faith which these days has a lot of problems like the fact that Muhammad was a pedo sleeping with 9 year old girls.

There are so many problems with the Quran like how the dates don’t match up. Mary’s parents were dated hundreds of years before Jesus so it’s a definite error. It says Mary was the daughter of Imran, 1400 years before Jesus.

the modern day Muslins try not to think about these things and move on.

Modern day JWs don’t want to think about 1914 and the 77week prophecy, just move on don’t think about these things.

but Watchtower have to explain away 1914 doctrine as we get further away from it and they will need a new scam to keep everyone with a sense of urgency

Some people are getting mixed up here. In Romania there was a break away sect who didn’t agree with certain things and they were more right than the old JWs. The old JWs had new light in line with the break away group and they were reunited.

That break away group has nothing to do with this thread at all.

It is a confirmed fact that KGB agents worked undercover for years and progressed from a Bible study to Elders and group overseers. This has been written about in year books and been mentioned on videos and broadcasts.

It was always talked about like it was in the past but my question is how do we know it’s not happening today? If they could get to be elders in the past could they even get higher up and be branch committee or even higher

Undisfellowshipping - ever heard of it happening?

while we are aware of the flip-flopping of doctrinal matters, revisions to how certain sins are handled judicially have also occurred.

additionally, there has been rulings created by the governing body, that has put people into situations where 'sinning' (and their disfellowshiping) was inevitable.

for example in times past, it was issues over if one mate committed acts bestiality or when the parents of hemophiliac children allowed the use of blood fractions on them.

Yes I remember it happened years ago. Three elders claimed one brother said something that he didn’t. This brother was adamant he never said that (it was basically admitting to a bad sin) but it went ahead and was announced he was disfellowshipped

he was absolutely adamant these brothers were lying and he never did that or admitted to it, he got the CO involved but he was useless and would not even meet with him. He wrote to the branch several times but they always side with the elders.

and then out of the three elders one admitted later on that actually he never said it.

then another one of the three admitted he never actually said that but the last elder of the three said he heard him say that.

long story short it was announced he was no longer disfellowshipped and fast forward several years all those three elders are no longer elders and that brother is still in that congregation

But I do love the Bible and I think it does change lives and it certainly is beneficial to study it even though I think it’s just another book written by men.

Yes I get a lot of grief for not following the direction and doubting the GB are inspired (everyone who doubts the shots are safe)

it came to my attention that the covid-19 vaccine works by editing the genetic code of the mitochondrial dna, using gene therapy.. you should seriously question the moral implications of allowing a part of your dna to be modified.

does anyone have any concerns about this?if anyone has any questions, i can do my best to explain.

i personally find it very suspicious how they chose to word it, and conveniently inform us of this fact "after" people have taken the vaccine..

All we know is the Bible says abstain from blood. And things strangled because it’s harder to get the blood out then.

where do you draw the line I mean all meat has some blood left in it.

where does this four primary components of blood come from? Everything else is ok according the GB?

we know these vaccines have aborted feral cells in them, this is ok for JWs to have injected into them but not one of the four primary components of blood?

im happy because I get out of being an attendant until they do the U turn on fully vaccinated only

i was asked to work some conventions this year but I’m not fully vaccinated so I can’t

The Borg still have not done the long expected U turn to go to any building project or theocratic schools you have to remain fully vaccinated.

the question is now what if it’s been a long time since your last booster?

what if they still haven’t done the U turn in several years time how long could it have been since your last booster to remain fully vaccinated?

‘in the world’ nobody is still taking these shots, it’s only JWs until they do the U turn.

you still can’t make cakes or provide refreshments or even do security shifts for pioneer school unless you remain fully vaccinated
