JW current stance on Vaccines?

it came to my attention that the covid-19 vaccine works by editing the genetic code of the mitochondrial dna, using gene therapy.. you should seriously question the moral implications of allowing a part of your dna to be modified.

does anyone have any concerns about this?if anyone has any questions, i can do my best to explain.

i personally find it very suspicious how they chose to word it, and conveniently inform us of this fact "after" people have taken the vaccine..

The Borg still have not done the long expected U turn to go to any building project or theocratic schools you have to remain fully vaccinated.

the question is now what if it’s been a long time since your last booster?

what if they still haven’t done the U turn in several years time how long could it have been since your last booster to remain fully vaccinated?

‘in the world’ nobody is still taking these shots, it’s only JWs until they do the U turn.

you still can’t make cakes or provide refreshments or even do security shifts for pioneer school unless you remain fully vaccinated

I'm not anti-vax --that's a cheap line, btw, and quite ignorant re/all the deaths and disabilities re/ the C-19 injections which were not "vaccinations." Too bad people are still asleep and can't dig for facts - oh well, sad.

I absolutely don’t care if you think it’s a cheap line or not, the fact remains I am not anti vax.

I like the principle of vaccination and of teaching your body the information it needs to create a defence.

I do not however think these things should be injected straight into your blood stream and bypass all the systems in you mouth and throat. It’s far better to swallow and the lymph nodes under your tongue study this information

this is how vaccines started out long before injections, now it’s called homeopathy

the only item that requires a bit of preparation is the first ten min treasures talk. But even that you could turn up unprepared and give it from the material just read the WT provided and look up the scriptures and talk about the pic

all the student assignments are just saying the sample suggestions in your own words

In the living as Christians part of the meeting it’s also all on rails, just what is in the workbook usually a video and then Q&A.

there is no preparation needed. Life on east street for normal elders.

the joke is how many elders does it take to change a light bulb. None they get a MS to do it and tell him it’s a privilege 🤣

the three on the service committee do have a lot to do, and some MSs have a lot to do but most normal elders don’t do much at all.

they get treated so well, if ever there is a need for it they are bombarded with meals and boxes of treats.

The other big change is how elders have a much easier time than years ago.

There is such a shortage of brothers wanting to reach out that it’s being made easier for elders to try to keep as many as possible

some elders just say no to assignments and the other elders on my body say someone’s got to do it. Yes somebody has to but it’s not my problem

the cost of living crisis and other difficulties nowadays make many elders just say I’m going to be elder in name only and not actually do much at all, just a few easy items every now and then.

mind you all are easy now, no preparation needed at all. I could turn up to any meeting and last min be asked to take a part and just get up there and do it from the material all I need is my phone

The big problem is that very old doctrine was never meant to last this long.

here we are 2023 and the next generation has grown up propagating old ideas from men who have all died already

We are too far away from 1914 by now, but this new generation can’t think of a way to get away from it.

how can they now? The overlapping nonsense was designed to buy some time, perhaps enough time for the current crop to be looked after in luxury but the next generation of top dogs will have to think of a way to get away from 1914 and 607bce. 77 week prophecy that we all know is wrong.

Many times it is said in prayers at the KH about our reigning king Jesus. They believe he has been reigning king since 1914. But the further we get away from 1914 the more people will doubt this.

my guess is at some point over the next few decades they will announce new light. They will probably do it gradually and the organisation will be unrecognisable compared to what it was a few decades ago.

it’s constantly changing. There will be hardly anyone disfellowshipped from now on with the change that if someone says going to the JD will make them suicidal then nothing will happen. It’s a get out of jail free card.

the reduction in ministry these days we only do ten mins then have coffee break

elders have a much easier job, there is no preparation needed to take any items these days.

simple enough question for a jw to answer, because the org has told them for over 100 years that, .

a) jesus would reign for 1000 years, and.

b) that his reign began in 1914 when he became king.
