sinning against the Holy Spirit question

let's assume that the bible is god's word and the men who wrote it were borne along ( inspired ) by holy spirit.

if one sets out to deliberately malign the bible, would that be considered a sin against the holy spirit?.

i’m agnostic so maybe the universe started by chance or by design.. if it was by design (hypothetically) and the bible is the designers word, and jws seem to be the closest to it, then what would be the largest things you would change?.

here are a few ideas.

Tonus which other organisations have love amongst themselves as Jesus said would be his true disciples?

It seems to many that JWs seem to be the closest to this, but if you have another organisation that I’ve missed please tell me.

Im open to the possibility that JWs are the closest to the Bible (if indeed intelligent design was behind the universe and the Bible is the designers word)

but as we have seen over the last 140+ years JWs have had some enormous changes and I think they need to keep changing.

I have no doubt they are wrong about many many things. There is a lot of room for improvement

It could be boiled down to-

Everything apart from gross sin is a conscience matter (personal choice) absolutely everything.

If something is a sin or goes against the Bible then have a judicial committee and if no repentance then announce the person is no longer a JW. But treat the person as you would any other unbeliever. Don’t shun them.

More important than that is to get rid of the governing body and just have all the different committees that currently exist. Then there wouldn’t be all the problems with ToMo3 and the three other disgraced GB members.

-Do away with the Governing body thinking they are Gods only channel. Have a few different committees handling different areas as is done now but do away with these several older men having celebrity status thinking they will be kings and priests with Jesus.

-which brings me to - do away with the claiming to be anointed thing. Just leave it to Jehovah will choose and we all don’t know.

-Medical decisions are a personal choice “each one must carry his own load” don’t try to persuade anyone when it comes to private medical decisions. If someone doesn’t want to take the vaccines then don’t force them to it to go on any theocratic schools.

- Education should be a matter of personal choice. Nobody should poke their nose in.

- Do away with shunning. If someone leaves that’s fine they left. If they want to come back they can if they choose. Just treat them like unbelievers

They have got everyone used to updating publications. The announcement even said don’t worry if you made notes on your digital copy they be updated along with the new copy

but how do pubs explain it to Bible studies when they are asked why the need to throw my old book away? “I don’t kow we just obey absolutely anything and never ask questions”

JWs have got used to blind obedience even if don’t understand why and never ask why and if asked to throw away an old thing and now use the updated one then just do it

the elders book gets so many revisions it’s hard to keep up. The latest one says if someone is suicidal then they can’t ever have a judicial committee which is an amaze loophole that means as long as people know about it there will be no more difellowshiping or shunning

this was a big announcement to all congregations in this week’s midweek meeting, sound like they are running damage control

I mean how long will it take to go through all the recent videos or pictures that had Tony in them? There must be loads.

to think some teams in Bethel are tirelessly making lists of all videos or pictures with disgraced Tony and then coming up with something to replace with.

they have just got finished with the Enjoy life forever book, now they will have to go through their entire video library with a fine tooth comb

Mill Hill - Chelmsford, reduced capacity, any news on Chelmsford plan revision

chelmsford looks to have much less work than in mill hill complex, if gb spirit guided why did they allow massive plans for new site when such significant changes must have been in discussion, planning , or contemplation.

knee jerk reaction to things looks to indicate someone or more on gb has instituted changes almost overnight.

my dog plans his day better, get up, walk, sleep, eat, walk some more, eat some more, and sleep again.

Chelmsford tours are on and apparently they are very underwhelming.

someone said they get to reception then walk outside if the weather permits and that’s it. The tour is over.

anyone who did tours in other Bethels will be very very disappointed. Especially if they travel a long way.

Its most run by commuters these days, volunteers working for free to keep those who live there in the luxury lifestyle they have been accustomed to
