even elders can be part of the new jw lite brigade these days.

they don’t need to go on door to door anymore and there is no requirement for anything really.. taking meeting parts is all dead easy you could turn up on the day with zero preparation because it’s all in the meeting workbook.. quarterly elders meetings are just old men having a good old natter just like old men do down the pub.. congregations could be likened to pubs or bars these days just without the drinks, those come at other times.. no need for territory maps, these almost went away with covid letter writing now they are extremely slow getting finished as those who still go door to door only do ten mins.. you could even voice your questions these days about things the gb say and then just say “we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know”.

i predict they will say this about 1914 soon..

i read an interesting interview with billionaire warren buffet's sidekick, billionaire charlie munger.

good read, this grandpa agrees 1000% with his advice.

i wish i had learned earlier to realize almost everyone lies...(sometimes to themselves) but especially, all politicians and religious leaders.. what advice would you as a grandparent add?".

PIMA isn’t fake JW it’s being honest that you can’t prove Gods existence and you can’t disprove it either. That is agnostic.

Living with the possibility that God is real and the Bible is his word is the option I’ve chosen this is Pascal’s wager, but not to be too invested because I think the GB are absolutely wrong and I’m finding this very interesting to see them in panic mode.

Stan, it living with the possibility that the entire Bible is a lie. So don’t invest yourself too much into it, just in case.

But I will go to my grave with a hope that the Bible wasn’t all a lie.

Life advice to my younger self would be to stay PIMA. Stay physically in the org for the good family life, safer being part of good community. Good friends who will be there for you as long as you stay physically in, so stay physically in.

Stay mentally agnostic then you can have the advantages of having a hope that the Bibles promises may have some truth to them.

Changed behavior of the governing body on the topic of “vaccinations” in the Covid era

i'm looking for an explanation why the gb has made a radical change on the issue of vaccinations.

was there pressure from outside?

were there any financial or other benefits to promoting experimental genetic therapy?.

It’s as simple as threatening to have charitable tax free status removed. That simple. Go along with the narrative or start paying tax on donations.

A few decades ago France removed the tax free status and they had to start paying fair amounts of tax which was about 40% in their bracket. They didn’t want to pay Caesars things to him so shut down operations in France and moved everything to London.

I was at Bethel in London at the time and everyone was saying why not just pay the fair tax as they keep telling all their followers to?

Its that simple, don’t piss off the superior authority or they will not let you keep getting away with tax evasion.

Not just JWs but all organisations had to promote the vaccine
