SOJ explain how your conscience allows you to post on Apostate site?

i am really curious as to how you will answer this soj,,,,,,,and any other active jw's who post here, even read here,,,,,,,,,because when i was an active witness,,,,,,,,i was taught that reading any apostate material was wrong.

i didnt even watch a tv show that talked bad about the jw"s for fear it was an apostate program.. i know if you are caught soj, posting here,,,,,,you would not have been reinstated( you were right?

), so did you tell the elders you post here?

I have been inactive for several years now. Can you please explain to me this 1935 Watchtower doctrine, which still stands as a revealed truth from the Faithful and Discreet Slave class and is still taught today:

Judge Rutherford, representative of the Watchtower Society, announced in 1935 in a convention that the doors to heaven were shut in 1935, and the gathering of the annointed class was accomplished in 1935.

Please show me by using the New World Translation Bible where it points out the year 1935 as been the year Jehovah God designated this divine calling.

i know this won't happen, but who would get all the money and the buildings and the lots, if the watchtower society would close down?

how many people would benefit from this?.

are there any figures on how much wealth the watchtower has accumulated over the years?

This Scripture clearly states how Jehovah God views the process of lending money to the ones related to us in faith:

EXODUS:22:25:" If you should lend money to my people, to the afflicted alongside you, you must not become like a userer to him. YOU must not lay interest upon him."

Following up on the research for family.

well, we put together two more emails to send to hubby's family following up the ones about whether the witnesses are encouraged to do independant research and whether they claim to be prophets.

we haven't heard a thing from his sister, but his mom wrote back a quick note to say she and dad are going to reply, but just need the time to put it all together.

she also said they still do not doubt it's "the truth.

Awakened, I have a question. If God is loving and merciful, why should we be fearful of him? That is something I never understood.

Dad is gone

my dad passed away at the hospital today after a lengthy illness.

he was 84 years old.

some of the folks here have known for awhile that he had been ill, and they have been very supportive.

unknown to me disassociation

i am new to all of this, even tho i have not been going to the meetings for nearly 4 years now, through the basic hypocrisy that i faced and the witch hunt i have had to put up with over the last few years.

because i dare to expose the bent dealings of a car salesmen, who happened to be a p>o> i tried to ignore all of this and thought let them get on with it.

my wife continued going to the meetings, and was shunned the whole 4 years, despite both of us being very active members of the cong.
