  Is anyone looking for an ex-dub roommate?

  i thought i would post this and see what happens.... i'm wondering if anyone in the ex-dub community and who lives in the usa is looking for a roommate right now?.

  my business requires me to do a lot of traveling but for several reasons i've decided that i want to have a home base where i can leave my stuff, make myself some home cooked meals (resturant food gets old if you eat out all the time) and just do some r&r on my days off.

  i can certainly afford to rent an apartment or house (up to $1,000 a month) but then there is no cool people to talk with and all that jazz.

  Is there a big conspiracy to keep you poor?

  when i was a witness, i often heard that if you left the trooth that you would become rich fast, have gratuitous sex constantly, become a drug addict and end up worshipping satan.

  man am i disappointed!!

  it seemed for the longest time that there was a giant conspiracy to keep me a poor working stiff just above the poverty line, especially so when i was going to college full time.

  From a Jw to an Elk within a year.

  i daed myself then was dfed then was sponcered into the elks lodge.. i now pledge alegence to my country again pray for our leaders and help the poor and misfortunate of the city i live in which is las vegas , nevada, usa.. it feels good to ask some one how are you doing without having an alternative motive of placing literature.. i also joined the chamber of commerce for networking and community service.. we just went to our first breakfast at the elks lodge...guest what they were so friendly and put the jws to shame.

  there were not any chiques (clicks) or hypocracy.

  i didn't hear any bad mouthing of any members.

  i was thinking back on something my sister, she is a jw, said to me.

  for some reason we had gotten on the subject of aids and africa.

  we got to talking about how many people have gotten it and have either died, living with it, or are affected by it.

  This should not be a shock to you. The killing andf putting tp death of people who are not JWs is the mind set of all JWs. They have no respect for life. They are taught that if you are not a JW then you are worthless and you might as well be dead.

  How many times have (they, we or Us, I or you)stood by and watched our family members pass away shed a few tears then say, "their name is far better at their death than at their birth."

  It is not until one leaves the org. and has time to re-elavuate one's thinking does one start to see the inhumane and sick reasoning that the org. has made it's members accept .

  I often think that being in a cult that has only one way of thinking is the cheif cause of lack of compasssion in and among JWs.,

  If there is not any inculcation of princilpes of charity, justice, Brotherly love and fidelity to promote the welfare and enhancement of happiness of its members and to cultivate good fellowship and beleif in God not an organization then all is left is the idea that death heals all ailments, and this is said without any feelings of reget or sorrow.

  I remember saying some very stupid things when I was a witness. Things I blush at today and wish I could ask for forgivness.

  All we can ask for with your friend is that one day she will awaken to her attitude of self-righeiousness.

I didn't hear any bad mouthing of any members. We ate at the table of the Grand Exalted Ruler he was more interested in us and and our getting settled in Las Vegas.

  One point that started to eat at me as I got older and older was the attitude of the JWs to take everything that the government gives without giving to the government.

  The death of our soilders meant nothing to JWs, because they might as well die today as die on the great day of God Almighty.

  On this Veterans day day I am proud to be one and to given my time to my country as well as my God in behalf of all the free people in the USA. This may not be the best of all systemsb but it is as close to the best as we will get.

  What I am trying to say is this unconditional love which is the order of most organizations is so much better than conditional love that is
  king of the JWs brotherhood.
