Right at first when my son was 2 and diagnosed with lymphatic leaukemia and we were told without a blood transfusion he will be dead in a week, he did not a blood transfusion, and he lived for 16 years, he died the week he graduated from High school. WE had run out of all the new chemo and he couldn't take anymore treatments physically.Read into this any way you want.

I think any religion can change some one's life to a positive way.
by free2beme ini remember as a witness, how we always were told account of people getting their life changed in a wonderful way, when they became witnesses.
we always thought, "that is what happens when jehovah comes into your life.
" yet if you think about it, every religion i have ever encountered, has similar account of lives being changed by religion.

Religion does good until it oversteps it's boundry and starts placing burdens upon it's flock which is impossible to attain then places the fault of the unattainable gold on the flock. Religion is like any big corporation. It starts out bettering society then it becomes larger than life then it goes public and the board of directors takes over and everything goes to hell in a hand basket.

I never did quite get to the point of giving my time free for something that the congregation was getting billed for later. I was a gen. building contractor in California. I felt that was was money maker, I would help the poor in the congo, but refused to give time to the org. THe only one I did attemp to service I ran into the little pissy elder that thought he knew everything about construction and I picked up my tools and went home...

Disassociate the Inactive? Maybe Not.
by metatron inimagine what would happen in countless congregations across the globe if the society formally announced that "so and so is no longer one of.
jehovah's witnesses" simply because they became inactive.. not only would many congregations suffer under the burden of having their younger witness demographic get "expelled" , often one by .
one, in a steady drip as they fornicate/smoke/do weed/whatever, man - but you now add a regular stream of .

It could be that the society has hit the criticle mass mark of inactivity and may want to wipe out the do nothings and have the best we can have. In the storage business, we use to raise the rent substandually that those who were having a problem paying the rent would move out and we would brush off the bitching and moaning of those who stayed with "You can leave too." We gained better class of renters and had less problems with the new renters. They could df the slakers and keep the mover and shakers scared, after all we were always scared that we wasn't pleasing "Mother." Remember it is not the slackers that publish and bring in the moola, it is the divinly theocratic sprititual publishers that brings in the moola.

Hey, Jws are the only group of people that has to have rulesand instructions on how to participate at a gathering. The rest of the world knows how to act. Be careful of large gatherings. No loud music. Only Kingdom melodies. Don't talk to another female/male unless your spouse is next to you. Don't, do this, don't do that...fill in the blanks.

I'm sorry for your health problems;therefore,as it is said,"Only a fool speaks about something when he knows nothing about what he speaks of." "Fools rush in where angles fear to tread." So with that said, sell dem books, be rid of the wisdom, release that thare knowledge. I do hope your situation improves, even though I do know you are in a wheel chair. I don't know your age but, I do know that the socalled "golden age" should be referred to as the garbage days. I guess that is why at the end of our times we are begging for someone to come in and knock us in the head just to gret it over with. I hope I have not depressed you. My humor is dry very dry like Port wine.
