your last big assembly

can you remember the last big assembly you went to ?

by big--i mean bigger than a circuit job--so--district ?

whole country at a stadium thing.. my last one was old wembley stadium uk..about 1969 ?

2019 Glasgow hydro , because family were attending from down south.

Remember Murrayfield assembly's four seasons in one day , sitting on the bleachers with a plastic sheet incase it rained or being roasted by the sun ,and the excitement of counting the number of freight carriages as they went by .

Did You Think The Majority of Elders Were “Qualified “?

in my opinion, in a body of elders let’s say with 7 elders , 2 or 3 were pretty much on the ball.

they were reasonable, intelligent and moderate.

the others were either extremely extreme about everything or very liberal.. did you have qualified older men or were they all lousy to you?

If nepotism and favouritism are qualifications .

Then yes many meet them,as others have said there was always a few that genuinely did the best they could to be helpful, which often didn't make them popular among the body .

Jesus, without sin and a perfect human being ?

how could he be, regardless of how god impregnated mary, as she was a sinful human just like the rest of us according to the bible.. mary was subjected to the adamic sin like all other humans, so jesus had to at least be part sinner himself.. to believe otherwise is just deluding oneself imho .. the only way jesus could have been really without sin is if god created him the same way he created adam.. what do you think ?

The picture shows a husband and father leaving ,why because he has found the ttatt and simply no longer wants to be a JW , but he is not happy but will respect his wife choice to continue to be a JW, because of her unreasonable behaviour and being manipulated by the elders and other Jws that he is to being viewed as a spiritually dangerous individual and he was forced to leave for simply exercising his basic human rights and because of that will suffer from having no or limited contact with his children.

Many other couples have different beliefs and still love each other and keep the family unit together this shows how manipulative and controlling the JW org is , and happy to destroy the family arrangement.

That my generation (late 60s) would never finish school, start a job,get married have a family etc .and now the overlapping generation's have left school , have a job and married with children.
