we were invited to a conference to speak on sl issues and had a very productive weekend.
it appears many here are very aware of the abuse issue and want to get involved.
Well, no wonder it was so difficult to find, it's spelled wrong! Hahaha......that makes it much easier, I'm going to post a thread with directions.

the producer from dateline called us to make sure we would be at the march on the 27th.
they are sending a film crew to cover it and i hope there will be a nice turnout to represent all who have had watchtower imposing silence of their sexual abuse.
they may do a follow up to their earlier program that aired last spring.
Hello Again. I just had some ideas for those that will not be able to make it to the march. For what it's worth, here are my thoughts:
1. Write letters to the Governing Body
2. Take up a petition in your area (many times corner stores and such will support a petition such as this at their register)
3. Make copies of Newspaper Articles and such
4. Anything else you can think of to send to the march
You can mail them to me if you wish and I will take them along. I'll leave them at the front door with my little lamb, just email me for the address. I don't know if these are good ideas or not, but perhaps it will spark an interest for a better idea. The numbers that will be at the march seem like they're growing (I hope), but even still, it will be a fraction of those that WISH they could be there. I know not everyone could make it. If I weren't so close I wouldn't be able to either, so I'm just trying to come up with ideas to show both the GB and the Media that everyone is there in spirit, I know time is running out, but are there any other thoughts?

i have made the commitment to go to the sl march.
i'm supplying a ride for someone who is in need.
i'm even buying new tires and brakes to make sure my ride is safe for the trip :).

an emergency meeting has been called by jack dowson at london bethel.
all co's and do's were recalled yesterday and are meeting at 2pm today in bethel (most have left the visiting congregations in limbo.
the meeting is today(starts at 2pm), tomorrow and finishing on friday at 12 noon.
I have never before had the desire for these people to "fall". It didn't matter to me much, although I must admit there was some small fantasy. Not until recently had I a reason for even being involved in any sort of "cause" or "movement". I mean what the hell do I care what people want to believe?? This day is different. When I came to realize the multitude of children hurt by those protected within the organization. And I stress those PROTECTED. I don't blame the Watchtower for having pedophiles within their ranks, it's unavoidable, I blame them for not doing what's right by the children of God. Anyway, no sense in rehashing all that, you get my drift. My point is, that now is the time to hit them people, and although it's fun and entertaining and supportive to gather here on this board, we must do more. You can't fight the Goliath without stones, and you can't take him down without throwing them!
There is one way we can put permanent damage to this cult, and one way only. They're 6 million strong, how did they get there?
They preached, they taught, they trained.........so what should we be doing? Seems to me if everyone here (for the most part) is in agreement then we should all (including myself) get off our lazy asses, and do something about it! Again, I could care less what they believe, but it's different now, we've received "New Light", and now we know. It's up to us to save the children, and if we all spend our entire lives in this endeavor to save one child, then every minute is worth it!
I don't mean to preach, and I should be practicing what I preach, but it's been driving me nuts for a while now. Whether these people had a meeting or not, we all have work to do. And if they DID have a meeting it means they're going to enforce their power, so don't break out the Champagne just yet.

I know there are at least 5 of us going. I have been a bit concerned myself on the numbers that will show. I know alot of people are saying they'll be there, but will they? I hope so, it's very very important, and I'm sure if anyone is worried about being seen on Dateline they can have their faces blotted out. But you can't wear a mask in a march in NY, it's against New York City Law (However, wearing a wig and sunglasses is NOT). I think this is what's held alot of people back from these types of things, but now is the time to put that aside, we are no longer in hiding, we have nothing to be ashamed of, so let's show it! The Lambs need us, not just those that have been hurt, but the ones who are being hurt right now, and in the future! Your families need this, your neighbors and friends. Remember, these people are being sent right to your door and the world needs to hear and understand this! It's a tragedy and it's up to us to help everyone involved. And when I say everyone involved, that means everyone in the world. We are carrying a message more important than any other in History. What could be more important than stopping a WORLDWIDE abuse of innocent children??
It's important to be there, You have to be there! (obviously there are reasons why some can't make it)
