Well then..... How can it be that these people are answering a 'Calling' from God if they're not qualified to hold the position. And if God does call on them, then it doesn't matter if they're having an affair. This makes no sense to me, is God doing the calling or man? And if man is doing the calling, why? If God is doing the calling, than how can he screw up? If it's true that these people may be called to learn some kind of life lesson or whatever, then there should never be a question of whether or not they should hold the position. No matter what they're doing in their personal or spiritual lives, God called them to serve, and serve they should. No matter who says what and why.

I would of course appreciate just about anything, but I have had my eye on a friend's zippo lighter (it's matte black). I think they fall within the limit. It's the only thing I can think of that I want (I'm easy to please, so anything is fine - really)

i mentioned about the elder that masturbated in another post.
this same man at the elder's school, felt that the appropriate course to take against a person that committed suicide was to disfellowship him.
when he was questioned about the reason, he felt that the person, no doubt, committed a sin against the spirit.
I'm not saying there is life after death, but the Mormons Baptizing the dead doesn't seem so odd 1 Corinthians 15 29 Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?well not as odd as DFing the dead anyway. And Double Edge is correct, they have full water immersions (SP?), no sprinkling. Reminds me of a rhyme I once read....undoubtedly from one of the late and greats.....perhaps it was Lord Byron: If you Sprinkle when you Tinkle Please be neat and wipe the seat... Or was that Shakespeare?

considering that simon has closed the two threads where a link, supposedly pertinent to me, has been posted, i will respond here.
my response is invariable, and is what i would post no matter what was posted, what links were posted, what chat pages were posted.
the former poster edward gentry of jw com, is dead and buried.
You're good people in my book.
