i won't go into detail, but let's just say i could cause alot of havoc with it.

I think there is a saying in the medical field "first do no harm". That takes professional training, surely. So I would ask, just because a person has been abused, does that automatically qualify them to provide abuse counselling, or to have a significant say in how a not-for-profit in the area of abuse is run and organised?
To illustrate: one of the not-for-profits I work with helps offenders reintegrate into society after serving their sentences. Now, should that not-for-profit be run by ex-cons simply because they are the group concerned? Of course not. It takes professionals with training to handle the various aspects of the reintegration process, and it takes professionals with training to look after the administrative, funding and legal areas too.
Bill Bowen has no professional qualifications (as far as I know). This is why if Silentlambs is to grow, it needs professionally trained people. I don't see how doing that is re-abusing the victims.

The problem here is, that TH is more than qualified for a number of uses within the SL org. Bill wouldn't have ever asked him to take care of these things in the first place had he not been. No-one is saying that Bill should hire someone to do things they're not qualified to handle. But when you hire someone don't fire them without telling them! TH has done MANY things for the cause, and for silentlambs, the whole thing comes down to this; Bill is continuing to alienate those around him, and he's killing what could have been a wonderful team. Why doesn't he want guys like me and TH around anymore? Because 1) he couldn't control our minds 2) Because he felt threatened by us. He doesn't have the know-how for many thing, especially the website, and he felt threatened because he felt he wasn't in control, and Bill HAS to be in control of everything and everyone. Hell, you can't even post in his guestbook anymore without him reading it first. You think the Abuse Victims/Survivors have time to wait for Bill to read all the guestbook entries?

And as for Bill assigning a new Board of Directors? That's a great big "LOL"....no, it's a "LMFAO".

Why don't you call him and suggest it yourself. You will receive a flat our "NO!" just like everyone else has...

I don't have a problem with him using non-jws, it just seems odd to me that he'd exclude an ex-jw....

It's prejudice and frankly illegal. If he was that concerned about TH being unemployed, then he could have paid him, instead of paying someone else. As a matter of fact, Bill told me that TH was taking the site over, and I believe he told TH as well. As a matter of fact, he decided against TH AFTER he gave him passwords to the system (This is the old system, not the current one that has alleged security issues). Trauma saw a post I made somewhere about sticking around a bit longer, and he was shocked, Bill didn't even tell him that he decided against using him!

So, here you have Bill telling someone else (above) that TH would be a good choice, and that he had the know-how to do the job, but he feared it would be too much since TH is/was unemployed. So the obvious thing for Bill to do at that point, instead of helping out an Abuse Survivor who's out of work, is to HIRE an outside source? Seems odd to me. Especially since he told TH he had the job! When I resigned, Bill had 'hired' TH just hours later. He was in a bind you see, and there TH was, so he figured he'd use him for what he's worth. Classic behavior. Then he talks me into staying for a bit longer. Then BOOM, he fires TH without informing him, and fires me, and THEN dumps it all back on poor webby who just wants out! The guy is a Pastor and a father, he doesn't need this crap, and meanwhile Bill hasn't hired anyone yet. Why? Because he knows he can take advantage of Webby for as long as he likes. He's a nice guy that has difficulty telling Bill no.

I have no idea what all that means, but I guess I'm clear from the accusations, I had access to the site that was on MY server, not the current site. That site which has been deleted by the way, per silentlambs request. I have no idea what security holes could be in the current site, but it's probably not a good idea to announce to the public that they may still be there. I would have waited until you knew they were fixed. Judging from the amount of hack attempts and over-all attacks on silentlambs when I had it (on MY server), that may have been a huge mistake. I hope they get these things fixed quick, if they truly existed and are still an issue. Perhaps, with all your experience, you should take a quick spin through the site and fix it before it's too late.

By the way, there have been some questions directed my way concerning the current site. I DID NOT build that site, nor did I have anything to do with it at all. Nor did I have access. The person who DID build the site stated so publicly, and you can see that below. But He is GOOD man, and by no means do I believe he would have tampered with the site in a malicious way! I think coming here, freeman, and shooting off 'undirected' accusations is almost more dangerous than actually accusing someone directly. At least if you make allegations against one individual, they can defend themselves. If you just throw a sloppy mess like this out there, well then people can make up their own minds about who you speak of. It's human nature to sit here and speculate as to who this terrible person might be. In effect, your words may be harming the good name of several people rather than just one. I'd rethink the way you've posted these things, it's not a safe way to operate, IMHO. As for your defense of Bill, you sound just like I did 2 months ago :) - More power to ya my friend, but you might want to lower the size of your text, it's impossible to read without wanting to hang yourself.

I asked about proof against Revmalk, bill has never sent me any proof. And in one e-mail, where I wasn't even discussing rev, he brought him up, and told me to investigate him instead.

You're not the first that has been told to investigate me. Many have, probably more than I know. Of course they'll come up with nothing, but they can certainly try.

The reason that you are not receiving the public defense that you feel is due is that many fear the personal repercussions in publicly questioning the methodology of SL, just as they did the GB when enslaved by the WTS. Some fear that drawing attention publicly to SL issues will damage SL and that they will then be personally responsible for survivors of abuse not receiving the help that they desperately need.

Thank You HS, I do understand this, I really do. It's just that sometimes it gets the better of me. I've never been so hurt in my life. Not so much anger and hatred, but shear pain in my heart. I feel abused all over again like I never have before, and it's very confusing for me. I never believed the WT hogwash, so I never experienced the feeling of betrayal when I left, but I feel it right now. I believed so much in silentlambs, more so than anything in my life, and to be stabbed in the back for something that meant so much to me, and by a friend that also meant alot to me, it's just shocking, confusing and unbelievable to me. On the same token, I was proud to help with silentlambs, proud to be a part of something, and proud that I was doing something good in this crazy world, and to have that thrown out to the public as deceit, and to be made out to be a criminal, and a 'watchtower spy', and so on, I just want to scream......well, you know what I mean, this has happened to you as well.

Thank you again, I know most aren't buying this line of garbage, but it hurts just the same.

Judging from allegations and accusation made against me in recent weeks, I am assuming you're talking about me here. If so, I would like to invite you to elaborate on these things. I have nothing to hide, I have done nothing wrong, and there is absolutely no proof otherwise. How do I know? Because 100% of the allegations are false, point blank. I believe you've been caught up in a......well, I'm not sure whether to call it a lie, misunderstanding, or gross twisting of the truth. First of all, whatever it may be, I had nothing to do with the current site. I had built a site, free of charge, and hosted it, free of charge on a totally different server, so I'd like to know how I made 'back doors' in a site I never touched. I'd like to see one shred of evidence to back up any of these allegations. There is none, again because they are all 100% false. Many have come to me asking about these things. In private I tell my side of the story, and urge them to see proof from Mr. Bowen. Each and every time they come back to me and say "You're right, he's out of his mind". So again, I urge you to request proof from Bill, and he'll give you none. You know why? Because there can be no proof for illusions in the paranoid mind.

You actually think the Watchtower is going to put me on the payroll to work for 4+ months for silentlambs so that they can have back doors? Come on back to reality my friend. If they wanted to shut silentlambs down at any moment they could. How? The site is riddled with copyrighted material. For all of you living in this fantasy world, let me explain something to you. All of us that have apostate sites could lose our lives at any moment. How? With the billions, if not trillions, of dollars the Watchtower has laying around. They could keep us all in litigation for the rest of our lives until we bent over for them. Even if we refused to do so, none of us could afford to fight them. They could have us all bankrupt in a matter of weeks. As a matter of fact, they don't even need a solid reason to sue us, they could make any frivolous thing up. It doesn't matter if they lost in court, because they'd only be interested in shutting us down. SO, as proud as we all are for the things we accomplish, it's only by the grace of the Watchtower society that we've gotten this far. You think they fear us? Wake up already.

Back to the Bill Bowen show:

Again Freeman, I invite you to request solid proof from Mr. Bowen, I invite anyone to do so. The simple fact of the matter is, anyone who goes against him gets on his shit list, and he doesn't care who he hurts. And that's exactly what's happened to me, and many others before me. I used to defend the man like no-one has, just look at my posting history. I didn't understand the private (and public) warnings I received before agreeing to help him, but I sure as hell do now. I don't expect you to understand now, but I'm confident you will one day, because one by one, he will do it to each and every one of us until he gets some professional help. Let me pose one more question before I close:

At the time I built the 'new' silentlambs site (the one BEFORE the current), the site resided on my server, and was intended to stay there. What possible motive would I have had to create back doors to a site that I had access to 100%? In case I wanted to allow more Watchtower spies to enter the site? Then couldn't I have just given them the master password to the entire account?

Come on you guys, you really have to start using your own heads here for crying out loud. You spent how long swallowing the WT BS just to come out here and swallow more?

I'll tell you one more thing. I'm tired of people coming to me with information that could help me under these personal attacks, and then saying "I can't say this in public though". I'm out here in the public eye getting my butt kicked all over the place, and from day one had nothing but good intentions. I wanted to help people, but you know what? No-one is helping me here, and a ton of you have proof that can clear my name, but you refuse to help. Am I getting bitter? You bet your ass I am. Any one of you take the constant attacks every friggin day and see how you feel about life.

Let The Lambs Tell Us What They Need.

this isn't about the running of silentlambs.org.

this is about the people themselves who have been abused.

this is from someone who has never suffered from abuse, who is trying to understand the needs of those who have.. how can those who have not been abused help those of us here who have, and what can we do that would be really useful to those persons?.

For me the healing comes from trying my best to help others. Even still, it's very difficult to know just what to do. Everyone has their own opinions and thoughts and needs, and being all for everyone is a tough job, especially if you put your own needs aside. I suppose that need to help others for our own healing purposes can work out wonderfully. We can then help each other, and be there for each other, and most of all, be understanding to each other. At times we're an unstable group, and tempers flare and emotions run rampant, and so on, but all of us here are survivors of one abuse or another, and all we can do is lend a shoulder to cry on, and cry on someone else's when needed. Give each other a pat on the back for a job well done, or at least for trying our best in whatever our endeavors. Giving each other the benefit of the doubt when in doubt, and simple words of encouragement. That goes for all of us, the silent lambs are not the only ones here that have been abused, and we all need these things, maybe some just a bit more than others. Some need to go after the Watchtower, while some want to forget they exist. Others want to just 'heal', and being here to vent is enough. Others are finding lifelong friendships, and some are just passing through.

You know, I've never actually thanked Simon for his efforts, though I've always meant to. What we have here, thanks to him and ang, is the largest organized group of ex-jws in the history of mankind. I'm not sure how many members are here, but some real good can be accomplished. Alot of good HAS been accomplished already, but as a group I can only imagine where we'll go in the future. This is a great question E-man, and perhaps we can broaden it sometime in the near future, perhaps a detailed poll or commentary section to see where everyone is at and where they'd like to be in 5 years. Their motives and their dreams, their fears and their concerns.
