Rev, I'm glad you wrote about what transpired with the AlanF correspondence, and also the other comments about everything. And you did it in a "nice" way rather than an angry one. Good going!

BTW, let me clear up that when I mentioned in the "other" thread about SL site having problems, I didn't mean any NEW ones. I meant the same ones SL said were occurring previously.

PettyG, I had wondered the same thing, about possible third-party shenanigans purposely causing "trouble by decree" between the (now) split lambs groups. The only possible "motive" I could imagine would be that the third-party may have wanted their own "group" to come out the "winner," so to speak. But I'm not really convinced that is a true motive.

I don't know if that would be a motive or not, since there doesn't appear to be a third 'group', or am I missing something. As we've seen in the past, people don't really need a motive to cause trouble, except what seems like a thrill ride, and that's all the motive they need. Obviously silentlambs and I had some problems that were definitely not tampered with by a third party, BUT things like when people say I messed with the information on the silentlambs site (where it sits now). I don't believe I ever had access to that site, if I did I didn't know it, because I was saving pages from my browser to move over to the new site, which was a real pain. But anyway, my point is, if the site was messed with, it wasn't me, which it didn't appear to be to me, except that one day when they went down, and I obviously had no access to it then, because that was after the stupid war started. But things like that I guess a third party could have caused. Or the day they shut silentlambs down when it was still on my server......D-day is what I call it, haha. I swear to God I didn't do that, yet they won't believe it. It's odd really, before I was involved with them they told me they get an average of 6 hack attempts a day, but then all of a sudden it all got blamed on me. Well, what happened to the people that were making the hack attempts before I came along??? So, ya in that way a third party may have made things worse. Perhaps Bill and I would not be in the situation we're in had other things not occurred. In other words, these big things may have made us more sensitive to the smaller things. But who knows, all I know is I forgive Bill and ALan for what they've done, and maybe one day they'll find it in their hearts to end this thing.

However, Rev... how "timely the feet bringing good news of good things" as far as that email from the search engine people. Hmmmm... yesterday the "exposure," then today an "acceptance email" by the search engine company? How long did you have to wait for this reply to your email to them?

I don't know, maybe 2-3 days. As a matter of fact, the guy told me to correspond with him directly, and he'll make sure everything is done right.....

Either/or, it's ridiculous what they said about how you have now changed your site so it is now acceptable to them. Did you write back and ask for clarification of that statement?

I haven't written back to him, but I'm not going to go there. I'm satisfied with them letting us back in. The whole thing just baffles me....very very weird stuff.

i started trying to imagine the scene, but in color, and what it would have been like.. they say if time travel was possible, you must be careful, for what you do could alter the future.. though i know it is not possible, i think it would be fantastic to do so.. so, would you do it if you could?

what time era would you go to?.

I would go back to the time of Jesus with a modern Bible translation, and point out to him some of the scriptures people had been killing each other arguing about. And I'd ask him, "Care to be a little more specific?"

I am definitely planning to post on LambsRoar very soon, and I am planning to post A LOT of info on LambsRoar.

That's great to hear. I don't want to sound desperate, haha, but here's some reasons why that is great news. We get a TON of traffic, mostly readers/lurkers. we get alot of hits from Google and Yahoo, for general molestation queries. And although we are still growing in the dialogue department, we're trying to make sure we have lots of information for the 'readers', if you know what I mean. I try to pull some of your stuff over there when I can, I hope that's ok (nice time to ask right:)

I noticed we get a ton of hits from universities around the world......Harvard quite a bit, U of Prague constantly....I assume students doing research? Alot of hits from Oxford, and all over the UK, and more and more Gov't servers. Alot of hits from social service depts in many many states and around the world. Our hit rate from Canada has grown by 90% since the fifth estate program. Again, great work Bill and everyone else. I'm proud of you all!

UNDF'D, I always enjoy your posts, and I appreciate your perseverance, dedication and knowledge on all the topics you touch on, and we miss you over there you know! :) I am fully aware of the 2-witness rule, how it works, the good sides and the bad (as with everything in life). But IMHO the good far outweighs the bad.

First of all, if the Elders report the pedophile to the Police, it does not matter whether or not they Disfellowship the pedophile because the Police will handle it. Correct.
Did you know that Elders have been using the "Two-Witness Rule" to forbid Jehovah's Witness victims from going to the Police and then to punish them if they do?

If the elders didn't use the 2-witness rule for this reason, they'd have another. JR Brown himself said that parents are more than welcome to go to the authorities, even before calling the elders, but it generally doesn't happen this way. Why? Because there is an unwritten rule that you don't do this. So if their policy requires 1 witness (the victim) 2 witnesses, or 50 witnesses, it will not make one difference in their unwritten rule concerning the victim going to the authorities. Take a look at every case we know where the victim has gone to the authorities on their own. Why did they go? What caused them to rebel against their elders? The fact that the elders did nothing. The fact that the elders did not punish the accused, nor take the investigation further than their 2 witness rule. What would have happened (and this is purely speculation) had the elders gone ahead and DF'd these people? What if they DID have a 1 witness rule? Do you think those families would have become outraged enough to have gone against their church? Probably not! Not in most cases anyway. They went to their elders because they THOUGHT the elders would do something. They THOUGHT the elders would have DF'd the guilty. They THOUGHT they were going to be satisfied with these results. they THOUGHT they'd be safe in the hands of the elders. They THOUGHT the elders would believe them. These people, for the most part, only went to the police because they didn't get what they wanted at church. They only went to the police because the guilty was not punished. If they cave and institute a one witness rule, mark my words and you'll see a 90% (at least) decrease in civil investigations of JW child molestation cases. We hear it over and over and over: "We went to the police because our elders did nothing". Come on! If they would have been satisfied with a DF'ing, and the Watchtower changes their policy, that's exactly what we'll get. Satisfied JWs. A whole bunch of stupid brainwashed parents that think DF'ing was enough! This is how the process should work: 1. Child is unfortunately molested 2. Child informs parents 3. Parents call Police (with no repercussions from Joe Elder) 4. Get the Child help 5. Call the Elders (I guess) If the parents are stupid enough to waste the time of calling elders first, this is how the process should work: 1. Child is unfortunately molested 2. Child informs parents 3. Parents Call the Elders 4. Elders call police, or at the very least instruct the parents to do so 5. Get the Child help We can't make them change. We can only make the law change. It should be mandatory in every state for parents AND Clergy to report. It should be a class "A" felony for parents to neglect this moral, ethical, and legal obligation. Run of the mill parents start going to jail, and you'll see some things change, that's for damn sure! And when that system fails, we need to be here to expose them, and we need to be here to support those that we failed. We can sit here and fantasize about changing the Watchtower until the cows come home, and it won't do a damn bit of good. We can march on Brooklyn when we should be marching on Washington, and it won't change a thing with these people. I'm not saying marching in Brooklyn and getting the word out via the media is bad, on the contrary, it's good, but our main purpose here should be to change the law, and to change the minds of the general public......make them aware that this is a serious problem that every human being faces. This has nothing to do with 2 witness rules, and if they cave and they change this rule, it will only make it worse! edited - forgot quotes

i want to thank all those that helped and encouraged me in my hard times!..hubby passed away from his cancer this morning.

i am so sad my heart is broken.

we decided to go ahead and have a memorial for him this weekend at the kingdom hall he went to.

What difference does this make? Who are we to tell them who they can disfellowship and who they can't?

Again, we're barking up the wrong tree, instead of trying to get them to change their policy on who they DF and who they don't, we should be encouraging them to do the right thing and to call the authorities who are qualified to handle a real investigation. And on top of that, since we know we'll be unsuccessful in those regards, we should be working to change the laws to force them to turn these cases over to the authorities.

Come on guys, why can't anyone see that trying to get them to change this 2 witness policy will not make a positive difference, even if they did?

If they changed that policy and started DFing people with only one witness, it still doesn't help the child......the child is still lost in the shuffle.

Besides the fact, as we've plainly seen, they're aloud back in within the year and even able to grow into an authority position.....and still no-one will be told in the congregation and the children will not be protected.

If anything, changing that 2 witness rule will make it worse. How?

Because then these stupid parents will be satisfied with their decision to DF and less cases will go the the public and less children will be helped, on top of the fact that innocent people will be found guilty. Maybe not many, but one is too many and it could be someone we know and love.

Frankly, there's probably a ton of Pedophiles out there that are right with you on this crazy idea. Then they know for sure they're not going to be turned in and go to jail. What's a little bit of time being DF'd going to do to them? Nothing, because they know when they come back, everyone will be so happy for them and jump right on the bandwagon associating with him, and it's exposing our children to even more risk.

I'm asking that everyone stop this crazy idea, and work on what will really help. This is counter productive and God forbid the society ever did cave, we'll have done a horrible horrible thing!

I'm sorry, but we've spent years going about this all wrong.

Thank you Dazed, for the kind words. I don't want anyone to think that I have been completely innocent in our spats, because I have not. Dazed and I can really get crazy sometimes going back and forth. It hasn't happened in a long long time, but when we do, we BOTH can go way overboard. It's because we're so much alike in so many ways, and we're both stubborn as hell! But we'll get through this together, that's what families are for :) I love you sis!

Rev.Malk - has anyone considered the possibility in light of "other" recent events that perhaps there was some "campaigning" & games being played behind your back & Bill Bowen's? Has anyone considered the possibility that many persons have been "played" against one another to who knows what goal? I think its worth finding out - who know's how AlanF got his information, but its very possible he may have been misled as well as many here have been as I'm finding out!

Well, what I said about Alan on the first page still rings true. I believe his heart is in the right place, but his mind if being deceived. There's nothing I can really do to change that it seems, but my invitation for him to learn the truth, and know the real me is and always will be open. As for an outside source, you know, that is something that has been in my head a bit, especially when I heard GRITS mention that silentlambs has been having some problems with their site and such, and LambsRoar has been having some trouble with the search engine links, I don't want to really get into specific because I have a ton of work to do today, but we're being shut out of different places because we're being considered a 'hate group'. And someone had emailed me. A web technician of some sort emailed me and informed me he believes there is something going on, and this was after I'd been already getting a bit paranoid. I know this seems far fetched, but many search engines are powered by a handful of sources, some of which are manually edited by administrators. And these people are telling me that we can't be there because we're against JWs, even though the main page of LambsRoar says the complete opposite. Meanwhile the KKK is entitled to their opinions, the largest most disgusting group of people on this planet.

The whole thing just seems odd, and you might just have a valid point. I'm willing to accept anything that sounds fairly reasonable just to end this stupid childish war, of which I have not been completely innocent either.

I just want it over, that's all.

You know what's really funny, just as I was about to submit this post, I received an email from one of the search engines, because I emailed them and chewed them out. Here' what they had to say:

Thank you for your email. I have consulted with other members of the team and see that you have made improvements to your site that
will make it acceptable to run.

Ummmmm........I have made no changes....except we added Dr. Franklin, that was it. Does that mean that now they think we're legit, because we have a Doctor? Who knows.....

Listen, AlanF and I had some correspondence last night, and it's just incredible to be what he has in his head. There are some that believe I'm trying to be something I'm not, and that's just not true. I'm not trying to be anything, I'm just me. I've done nothing special and I am no-one special, as he's so good at pointing out. There is no following, there is no conspiracy, there is nothing. I don't know what I can do to make people understand that, but Alan pointed out that time will tell, and I guess time is all I have on my side. He believes something different and extraordinary and exciting will occur over time, and LambsRoar will fail and all sorts of rantings, whereas I believe what will happen was meant to happen. LambsRoar for example, he's insistent that it will fail. That can't happen because if no-one ever posts on that site again, those things are there as a matter of record and will remain there until the day I die, if not longer. If no-one posts there again, and someone reads a thread 30 years from now, and they benefit from that, then it's served it's purpose. If people continue to utilize the site for whatever their needs might be, then that's great too. Would I like to see that happen? Of course, because I think it's a beneficial tool in this cause, but I realize that if it doesn't continue, it's not what we needed and I will go on with life, knowing I tried my best and that's all I can do. But in my mind it is already a success, like I said, even if it never receives another post again.

Alan also accuses me of asking for money. From whom have I done this? I'd like to see anyone come forward and let us know if you've received such a request, because I have never asked anyone for money. To date I have never received one penny from anyone. We have a button for donations, yes, but as anyone who owns a website can attest to, it's not cheap to maintain a site like this. Sure, we don't use as much bandwidth as Simon does, but it's not cheap.

I'm also accused of generating links to make money on my OTHER websites that are failing. I maintain over 200 websites, this is true, but I have not one that is a revenue generating business. I receive payment to maintain them, this is true, but not from you guys, from the owners of the sites. It's kind of complicated to explain, my fingers are in each of these websites, and I did build every one of them, but I do not receive revenue from the general public, my income comes from the maintenance and such from these businesses only. So, it would be no benefit for me to promote these websites on LambsRoar even if I ever did do that, which I have not! The only link I have to one of my outside websites, is my parent company, a copyright notice for the design of the site, and that's it. And even at that, I have not had the time to finish developing the site, because I've been busy with all of this. If I were to use this cause for my own financial gain, I sure as hell would have made sure my one and only site that's designed to bring me income from the general public was finished! GRITS can back me up on this, she knows I've been trying to find the time to finish it since what? October?

The rest of the things Alan had to say to me, besides telling me I'm a con man, is garbage that keeps rearing it's ugly head over and over again regarding silentlambs, and I just won't go there anymore. It's ridiculous to keep spreading this trash. If I had done all those things then there'd be proof, but no-one has found any because it doesn't exist. But I will tell you one thing. I am sick and tired of hearing it. Alan was nothing but cruel in our correspondence, and it's just shocking to me. Both his ignorance to this entire situation, his arrogance and his lack of compassion. These guys have pushed and pushed and pushed until I am at the very edge, and I cannot mentally handle it any further. You cannot maintain a cause that's intended to stand up for what is right and just and good, that has a foundation of deceit and cruelty. Good does not come from evil and evil does not come from good, so what's it going to be? Is this going to continue? Because I've had it.

I am ready to forgive and forget and make amends with all of you that wish to continue this stupid war, but it's a two way street, I cannot accomplish this alone. I'm sick and tired of fighting when we're supposed to be supporting. I am tired of taking pot shots at each other when we're suppose to be working together. This is making me sick inside, and it hurts us all when this continues.

I'm just plain tired.

I've been sitting here basically the entire day waiting for this problem to go away by itself. Apparently it is not going anywhere, judging from the amount of emails I've received, and I have to respond before it gets worse. It is no secret to some that DazedandConfused/FairGame is my sister, and to others it wasn't known until AlanF made it clear to everyone. Of course he had the right motives for sticking his nose where it does not belong right? I think not. I'm going to address Mr. "F" before I address the other issues.

AlanF has been investigating me for several months, and he has found nothing incriminating against me, nothing. How do I know this? Because I am clean, no record as AlanF and some others would like to think, no horrible skeletons in the closet, nothing. So, what does he do? He jumps on the first chance to attack me, with unfounding (word?) opinions and nothing but bad motives in his heart. He claims to protect the innocent, yet makes astounding accusations and tries to publicly humiliate a fellow human being. AlanF should be ashamed of himself, and I believe he owes me a public apology. He's acted out of line, un-professional and much like an immature child. If Alan has problems with me, then Alan should address me in private. To date I have never received any sort or correspondence from him. I myself have emailed him.....laid my personal life out for him, invited him to continue his 'investigation', and even offered my assistance. No reply. He'd rather listen to false reports from someone else (I really don't wish to go there) than to actually go to the accused, who has offered to assist in 'checking me out'. I've made that offer to anyone that has a problem with me. You want to investigate me? You're more than welcome, I have nothing to hide.

Do I hold these things against Alan? Well, I haven't until now. I understand he is being deceived, but to attempt a public humiliation of another person on this board, is wrong at the very least, and a severe crime. Now, if he had some facts......even a minute amount of evidence, then who could condemn him? But he doesn't, and never will because it just doesn't exist. So, the way I see it, this was a clear cut case of bad motives, selfish agendas and is downright cruel. So, do I condemn him now? Well, I'm real upset and hurt by this. I know him to be a caring person, no matter what he thinks of me, and it hurts. I'm not proud, I'm as human as the next person, and these are hurtful things that he and others have been doing to me for months. I say spill your freaking guts if you have something to say. If not, stop acting like an 11 year old school girl and shut the hell up. By the end of the day I will have forgiven him for these things, it's just the way I am.....some think that's a weakness I have, and maybe that's so, but I like who I am, even if the likes of AlanF does not, and I am proud of who I am, even if he's not, and I will continue to stand up for what I think is right, even if he thinks I should not. So my plea to you Alan, is to wake up, view the facts....have a cup of coffee if that's your thing, and do some soul searching. I know your heart is in the right place, but now is the time to set your mind straight, and do the right thing. If you didn't care what the 'right thing' is, you probably wouldn't have done what you did, unless you like to see people suffer, and I refuse to believe that.

As for my sister. Where do I start? I love her with all my heart. And I refuse to say anything that will hurt her. That's the bottom line. She's going through a spell, that's all that's happening here, and I ask that if and when the truth comes out, that you all be good to her. She's had a rough life.....more than most of us here can comprehend. She's having a tough time right now, and as important as LambsRoar is to me, and as important as some of you are to me, she's my blood, and I need to be there for her right now.

I apologize to everyone here for all of this, I can only hope that you are all as understanding as I think you are.

You'll find that I probably won't have much more to say on this matter, unless something happens to change, as there isn't much to say. This is where I stand, and if some of you are dying for more, I've said a few things at LambsRoar......go ahead and have a field day at my expense, that's what I seem to be here for, for the last few months. I'm a broken man, I hope those that have worked so hard for this day feel real good about themselves.
