Doubting the Trinity and Paradise

i don't doubt the trinity, but again i had a talk with one of my jw friends and he gave me several bible passages which he wants me to explain, most deal with the trinity, and others deal with the belief in heaven.

he says that they show that jesus was less than his father, and was a separate person, and the others state that paradise will be here on earth.

argument: how come no one has seen god, not even jesus?

The answer is real simple. Jehovah of the OT was Jesus Christ, but on earth as a human, his name was Jesus, which explains, obviously, why the name "Jehovah" is only present in the OT.
I don't have time to go into too much detail, you can research this stuff for yourself, but that's why the Bible seems to contradict itself. Jesus is NOT the Almighty, but he IS Jehovah, but Jehovah IS NOT God Almighty. It's really that simple, yet for centuries man has been scratching their heads furiously over this..... I'm still confused as to how this is being "Politically Correct', but whatever.....
I just want the law to keep better track of these 'people', and I use the term 'people' very loosely.
incidently, I don't know how many of you have seen this site, but you can check online in your area for sex offenders:

i read this notice from his daughter this morning

my father passed peacefully at 1:07 am this morning.

i wish to thank you for being so nice to my dad.

My condolences to the family, I left my thoughts on LambsRoar:
Misty,

I too, am sorry for your loss. When I first read this, this morning, I immediately shut my computer off. I didn't want to be reading that, I didn't want it to be true. Then I realized how selfish that was of me. Instead of being concerned for you and your family, I was thinking of myself.

Your father has made more of a difference in my life than anyone I've ever known. He's a good man, and always will be.

I wish you my deepest condolences, and I wish Ron much peace. His legacy will live on forever, in our hearts, on this board, JWD, and wherever else he has touched the hearts of those around him. Not only that, but my children will always know this man that was so dear to me. I only knew him for a few months, here on the boards and in private, but that time is precious to me, and it speaks for the monumental impact your father can make on so many souls, in such a short period of time.

I just hope he knew and understood that as well.

I've been trying to figure that out myself.
Maybe we're supposed to be so afraid of the 'system', that we screw ourselves in the end.
Hey! Perhaps is a plot of the world Governments!
If they secretly convince us that we don't want to listen to this 'propoganda', then we'll just sit on our butts and do nothing, hence making their jobs easier!

SP, excellent way to look at it!
And I'd rather be the guy that 'buys into propoganda' and fights for what I believe in, than a guy that lays down and does nothing because it's a 'losing battle'.
And the thought that we might save one child, even by simply promoting the petition, makes my day worth it.
Will this ever become law? Most likely not, but at least 457 people thought about these issues, and maybe, just maybe they kept a little better eye on their children because of it. Rev ---------- LambsRoar.org

I'm not sweating anything RF, but thanks for the concern.
I've learned alot in this past year, I don't get as hyper as I used to :)
