there is so much confusion now.. if we can talk to disfellowshiped/disassociated ones to invite them to meetings then is it really going to stop there?.
some family members haven’t had contact for decades and now after yesterdays new light they will all be getting calls.

New rules for dress & greeting disfellowshipped: It's even worse!
by neat blue dog ini know they're panicking and trying to gain favor with governments, former members, prospective converts & those who are teetering, all for financial worries.
still, the latest update in some ways made things worse, and if there's any jws watching it who are beginning to wake up it should be very disturbing.. starting with dress codes: they say that suits, ties & skirts are no longer required, but in so doing they admit that they were required, something not often appearing as an explicit command in print.
(similar to how lett referred to the "policy on beards" in his video, even though this direct policy wasn't made available to rank and file.

Elders now meet with all disfellowshipped every six months.
They are begging people to come back because the numbers are falling so much.
The slackening off of shunning rules means hardly anyone will be disfellowshipped anymore. They will overlook young ones who slip up and envying sun as long as they say they are sorry.
And they are begging all who have left the Borg to come back

Can you openly express doubts in the congregation these days?
by Elena ini know of a lovely old sister who has been a jw for several decades now who openly expresses doubts about jw interpretations.. she does it in such a lovely way and everyone loves her.
she is such a sweet old soul, makes everyone happy around her.. she has said things like- even if we have got it wrong about this and that i still believe the bible is gods word”.
she answers up regularly and she goes on ministry groups but like most of us she is definitely jwlite, we don’t really do door to door work anymore.

If you express doubts about the vaccine is that doubting the GB are who they say they are? If so then many many JWs including many elders are doubting the GB then they are all apostates?Even expressing doubts that someone wishes they didn’t take so many of these vaccines as they have been bad for your health, that is doubting the GB direction? But many are indeed doing this

Were JW Celebrities Ever An Asset To The Organisation?
by NotFormer injust wondering if the rich celebrities that occasionally were aligned with the wt gave enough to the 'tower to be a worthwhile presence within the organisation?.
my gut instinct is: "no".
i imagine that the jackson family gave a fair bit, but it was obviously never enough to buy michael the right to be held as being in good standing.

Michael the right to be held as being in good standing. He even gave that silly trigger warning at the start of Thriller (presumably at their behest) and they dfed him anyway.
What was the trigger warning? I remember that young women in the pink top, was she meant to be a young JW sister? She certainly looked the part.
