it seems to me scripturally speaking, that jehovah's witnesses are emphasizing the wrong name.. it should be jesus, not jehovah.

If the New Testament is reliable, the name of Jesus is emphasized more than the name Jehovah in the New Testament.
If the New Testament is not reliable, and the name Jehovah was completely removed from all ancient manuscripts, God did not preserve His word.
This was one of the first conundrums I faced when I first allowed myself to challenge my own beliefs.
If as WT suggests, shadow groups have been able to alter Bible manuscripts by, for example, removing God's name from the NT, then what else might have they altered?

Objectively speaking, in terms of how often they appear, the answer would clearly be Jesus.
Judging by the writings of those early Christians, they simply did not use the name "Jehovah" anywhere near as often as JWs do, if even at all.
The definition of the name "Jesus" is a separate subject

People are not doing that as a great career or life choice. It's because they have been mistreated or abused and people have taken advantage of them.
Sweeping generalization that is not necessarily true.

DT, (or however many other aliases you've used here throughout the years), there's more to life than being a keyboard warrior.
Go get some sunlight, build something, do something productive, take on a new skill, a new hobby. Step away from the endless forums and turn the screen off for a while. It'll do you some good.
