I have always found that 95% of comments are just basically just rephrasing the question that was asked.I think our COs wife is literally a retard.
You can sure tell the people that are mentally out by theirs comments or lack of.
was that important for you?
most people, i believe, forced themselves to give an answer.
i knew many elders and servants over the years being counseled because they rarely answered.. funny thing....my mom who is 88 cries if she doesn't give a comment.

witnesses are supposed to be the "most honest people in the world".
most jws i know of do not put business deals in writing.
they simply "trust their brother".
I was building a house beside an Elder and he had some left over material. He said he would sell it to me for half price of retail to save him the hassle of taking back to the store. I told him, I need it so I will pay you retail.
It turns out he charged me double of what he actually paid. I told him he must have made a mistake and he owns me 300 dollars. He told me he made a mistake but for some reason he never comes by anymore. Never talks to my wife at the hall ( I don’t hardly attend ). I could push the issue but I think it is the best 300 dollars I have ever lost.
i know the society is against higher education and the pursuit of careers but in my experience the elders in the various congregations i attended had good careers.
in fact most had their own businesses.
thinking back of the boe when i was a teenager this is what they had as a career: two were respected carpenters who owned a construction business, one a high school teacher(he was the po), one sold insurance and was a lawyer, one owned a landscaping business and also hired sisters to clean office buildings and other accounts he had, one was retired, and the last was a janitor for the school board.
My in congregation we have these young elders who work as electrician helpers. I asked you are apprenticed, getting your hours in. They are like no. It would look bad to the rest of the congregation.
Considering there is already three journeymen electrician in the congregation, it would make you a horrible worldy person to go to school for eight weeks for four years. Why make 40 dollars an hour when you can make 12 the rest of your life.
Stupid.
Would you actually have to step down as an elder because you want to tech school for eight weeks ??
what was the experience like?
i lived with my brother and then sister-in-law in an apartment building owned by a brother and his wife.. besides the fact that they would constantly enter the place while we were out, without any kind of advance notification, they would procrastinate whenever there was maintenance work that needed to be done.
sometimes it would take months before they would get to it.
I knew a young catholic couple who were given basically half price on their rent , provided they studied with the elder who owned the house they were renting. Once they got to the point about killing your children over blood transfusions, it was basically “ wow, we really have to stop renting and buy a house, any house. “
So they did.
Study ended.

I know this one guy with a construction company who became a witness during an economic down turn. He liked to brag about how much work he got though the congregation and when asked about the door knocking, he was like “ Yeah, but we have coffee after and BBQs and dances and stuff “.
It is kind of ironic lots of dubs start small business to get away from “ Worldly people and employers “ and actually do quite well at it but let’s realize most are janitors and bus drivers. Also with the Mexican invasion in the US, jobs like painting, landscaping, dry walling , roofing etc etc, the wages just are there anymore when a Mexican will it for less than min. wage under the table.
i am at the assembly and the last speaker of the day is doing some boring and cliche talk about trusting in jehovah and not being anxious and stuff.
then he starts into this story about this 11 year old boy named nigel who has cancer and is going to have a court ordered blood transfusion.. i am getting up to leave because i am thinking he is going to start into some story about he managed to get out of it and died for jehovah or something like that.
the speaker never finishes the story about what finally happened.
So
Doing some research I have found a story about an Australian 10 year old boy who was given a forced blood transfusion.
It funny, you will hear about the ones given blood and still died of cancer but you never hear about the ones given a forced transfusion and it saved there life .
the other day i am in the hall and they are doing the whole christian persecution thing.
lets not forget about brothers in eritrea and south korea.
then someone said these people prove we are the true religion.

After the meeting I had a chat with one of the elders and told him “ what about Catholic Churches being bombed by Boko Harum in Nigeria, Churches being bombed in Egypt by the Muslim Brotherhood, Christians in Pakistan and the Taliban, Christians in Iraq and Syria and ISIS.
He looked at me dumbfounded, Man it is a terrible world. AKA ( We don’t give a shit ).
Watchtower arrogance……………….Oh……………Just man
Anyone ever wonder or question this ??
brother lett was giving the last talk of the day about what they supposedly accomplished in 100 years.
i was just waking up so im paraphrasing alittle(i was dosing off all day) anyways in his introduction he said.
"there is more evidence to prove gods kingdom on the earth is a reality than wind, electricity and gravity is a reality on the earth".
I kind of got the feeling the Watchtower is taking on kind of a Joel Osteen, Cello Dollar kind of feel. Only if you are baptized as a Jehovah Witness , Jehovah will answer all your prayers.
Need money ?? Pray to Jehovah …………..only if you are baptized
Want a mate ?? Pray to Jehovah…………… only if you are baptized
Blah blah blah
These freaking guys are just ripping off the mega-churches and television evangelists complete with send me your money.

Its sure is funny
I have googled everything. 11 year old Jehovah witness Nigel blood transfusion etc etc.
I can’t find a dam thing about this story or how it ended.
I wonder what would happen if I asked the elders.

Now I am thinking
He just made it up because he lies like all Elders do.
That the child died ( but the watchtower never misses an opportunity to glorify a martyr. )
That the child received the blood transfusion and it saved his life. Of course you can’t tell anyone that.
But lets just say it was number three. What is the lesson we are suppose we from that ??
That it is better to live in a country where the watchtower is over ruled by the government.
Anyone ever hear anything about this story ?
It just seems odd. Just one of those moments you can really see the devil making fun of the rank and file.
BTW- 5000 in attendance
