  Oh Bullpoop

  I know there is a culture of a bullying and intimidation in each congregation. I know people who turn in slips with zero are treated differently. I know the panic that comes with each C.O visit.

  When my wife was marked and no one go out into field service with her, I would drive the car and follow her though the neighbourhood. No way I was letting my wife knock on strange doors by herself. I see the way the people with UBMs are treated. No one offers to give a ride to an assembly, no one offers help moving, no one wants to have us over for supper.

  It is the culture of a bullying and intimidation that got these women killed that was being enforced by thug elders. Just saying NO isn’t quite and as easy as you seem to think it is.

  When your BOE is more concerned about impressing the C.O than the safety of the members of congregation, I don’t think what I said was inappropriate .

  What really pisses me off about the accident was not a single Elder ever said “ Don’t get yourself killed coming to meeting, going in field service “ . No No No, you die in service you are a martyr.

  A few years back, there were two sister killed in a car accident in our old congregation. What happened was the average temperature in January was well past -30. Near the end of the month all the ubers were in a big panic to get some hours in. C.O is also coming for a visit and everyone is in a big panic.

  Later that morning two sisters in a Honda Civic are smoked by an 18 wheeler on an icy highway. Both are killed.

  C.O comes to do the funeral. Of course it is just a copy and paste infomercial for the WTS. The whole time I am thinking it is your fault they are dead you morally bankrupt idiot. They were out on icy highways trying to impress you. Putting your life at risk to hand out magazines they don’t understand to people who don’t want them.

  Next winter comes. Elder whos wife was killed calls my wife on a terrible winters day asking if she is coming out for field service. I grab the phone and snap on the elder “ you killed your wife, you are not killing mine “. Sorry, I forgot to mention it was a rural hall, lots of driving for field service.

  We moved to another city. Elders aren’t in a big rush to be my new best friend. I prefer it this way.

  It is not about me. I couldn't care less what they think. If she were to ever leave I think I would beat up the C.O and afew elders. I think there is a better chance of me joining ISIS than becoming one of jehovah witnesses.

  She finally got unmarked and got her phony friends back.

  I am just more worried about her.

  I remember one time listen to a talk from an elder about the importance of keeping our cars in good shape. If we lapse in getting that brake job or snow tires we could be found bloodguilt by jehovah an never see paradise earth.

  Thus the reason I ask.

  What kind of grief should I expect from the elders and various other busybodies in the congregation about this with their bloodguilt and stuff.

  If you look at the plurality of god in the old testament, the new testament quotes using the tetragrammaton and the writings of Paul and who he thought Jesus was, I believe the writers believe Jesus co-existed with his father as Jehovah, Yahweh, LORD all caps in the old testament.

  Does anyone fully understand it ?? Not really but who do you think the authors of the new testament believed Jesus was, God in the flesh or Michael the arc angel ?

  Then if you think the bible is complete bullshit, so be it but the when the basis of your religion is the bible is wrong ( the name of god removed ) and it has been repaired by men we don’t know they are with copies of the bible we don’t know if they exist.

  No knows. You have to be careful when being raised a JW. You tend to read the bible like you just got a speeding ticket and you are looking for a technicality to get off. JW generally seem to be so busy looking at the fine print they usually miss the big picture when studying the bible.

  Nothing pisses off a JW more than the idea that the modern day state of Israel is the fulfillment of bible prophecy. They are starting to preach the same batshit crazy stuff that the American evangelical 700 club Ned Flanders types are preaching, just replacing Israel with themselves.

  The hatred of all things Christian is what is really driving JWs to the holy land. Same reason the muslims are always pissed off too.
