i was just thinking that the org has said lots of outrageous things over it's history and most jws just continue onward without a second thought.

so my question is what do you think would have to be said from the platform or wt to get people to get up and walk out immediately?

I have notice in my wives congregation there are a few who refuse to make stupid comments. I wonder to what degree they are awake.

Unfortunately at least two elders seem to be narcissistic bullies who I know willing go out of their way to say especially stupid and cultist things to see whose eye rolled and get them on the shit list.

With the new understanding of the faithful slave, I am not even sure why they even make a fuss of the magical 144,000. The sad part I am pretty sure there are plenty JW that are not even aware of the doctorial flip flop. I have since read literature printed after the new understanding and I am not even sure the entire writing department has gotten the memo.

Heck I am not even too sure why they have the memorial since the anointed are just figureheads now.

Any church that starts taking a liberal stance on things like homosexuality and abortion won’t be around very long. The United Church of Canada ( once the biggest domination in Canada ) started taking a so called progressive view social issue in the late 60s and now only has 1/10 the membership it use to with the average age of its members being well over 60 years old .

I think we have thought so far outside the box on the gay issue we have forgot how to think inside the box. White people can’t join the black panthers, Men can’t join womens hockey etc etc.

there is a certain elder in my wives hall that has seemed to developed a real interest her.

first he seemed to feel a need to make sure all her blood cards were signed before she gave birth to our child.. he sends her text messages if she misses a meeting saying how much " we missed you last night ".

he finally sent her a text wondering where her oct hours were , knowing she had some pretty serious tears from child birth and could hardly even walk, much less do field service ".

I am not even really that pissed off about the text messages because looking though a lot of them the majority of them look like mass mailing things but my wife after giving birth and having her lady parts ripped apart and not attending the KH for a month.

Do you think the text about her hours was legit doing his job thing or just a cheap shot?

Funny thing is have an elder (who have had some less than honorable business dealings with and owns me money) who just lives three doors down from us. He doesn’t really give two shit about us. He has also had three children.

I think it is kind of funny how much childless weirdos seem to think they need to involve themselves people with extra busy lives

do you have any songs that you have listened and then thought that it also works from an apostate point of view?i have always liked this song, but one time realized that i was thinking how it sounds awfully familiar, if you think about those who have lost family/friends due to leaving.this song was originally made/written because one of the actors died in a car accident.

I remember back in the 90s watching the video to “You get what you give “ by the New Radicals and thinking how gay. Kids at a mall releasing pets from a pet store and throwing nets on people and what makes it worse is they totally think they are bad-ass when doing it.

Then I learned the band leader Gregg Alexander was raised as JW. Yeah to a JW that would seem totally bad ass.

It wasn’t till years later I that found “ Maybe you have been brainwashed too “ by the New Radicals in a pawn shop for a dollar. It was a really great disc. I started to research the New radicals and Gregg Alexander . It actually was on most critics best discs of the 90s lists.

Funny thing is he just stopped being famous all on his own. I asked around the fan boards if he was disfellowshipped, even baptised , shunned and all I would get “ what difference does it make blah blah blah. So stupid, no one understands. I guess he does work as a producer though.

I would love to know the whole story.

Anywho, you get what you give by the New Radicals is my JW song.

Also……..My darkest hour by Megadeth I always though was about getting disfellowed.

The part that made me upset is about four months ago he called a private meeting with my wife about her pregnancy. I think we all know what that is about and I was super pissed off. I walked into the meeting in the KH with him and another elder and shut things down and told him to mind his own business. Wife said it looked like I was going to kick the shit out of him.

Wife texted him and said sorry about that. He replied it was “ don’t worry about it and he needs to realize WE disagree with him on certain things. “ The WE part pissed me off and I swear for the life of me I have never been able to find that stupid blood card. Unless there is something I don’t know about in JW land, I am not even sure she has one.

You would think he would have fucking learned after that but texting my wife about having no hours after having a baby ? Really, you can’t figure it out ?

I will let it happen one more time and I will say something.

Yeah, he does have a wife and she is pretty hot and Asian. They have no children. I am pretty sure they say its “ We will in the new system “ but in reality she doesn’t want to touch him. He is fat and bald and covered in moles.

Brother Tim Horton, the new service overseer

stopped in tim horton's ( a donut shop) at 10:00 a m today and there were no less than 12 jws in there from three different car groups.

it took about 25-30 minutes for them all to get their orders and get on their way.

that's almost 6 hours of service time in the glorious 'ministry'.

Where I live Tim Hortons is owned by an Evangelical Christian family and all employees are under strict orders to chase them down when they place their tracts and magazines.

Sure must be fun being a dishwasher or janitor and getting to pretend you are magnum PI, Matlock and law and order all at the same time.
