Not the same guy but I would so like to send his wife a dick pic so they know what being inappropriate feels like.
I am thinking it would be a great way to get people to mind there own business.
i guess being two months old and coming to the kh in his onesee was kind of offensive .
how rude of me.
i am thinking about returning to him.

My wife doesn't approve and it is hardly a hill to die on but it pisses me off. They sure as hell won't be studying with my son when he gets older.
i am jehovah's witness, despite some of the questionable teachings, crimes, and other outlandish behaviors of specific people affiliated with the religion.
i know that my relationship with jehovah is not influenced by any outside factors.
i do not condone any crime.
You can’t have a relationship with god while worshipping a golden calf.
it's not only jw's that get banned in moscow ... the church of scientology too, deemed a "cult" and banned.. eden.
The more I learn, I simply refuse to watch Tom Cruise and John Travolta movies anymore.
my wife is taking a literature course at a local college.
this was her final topic of the semester: why rational people buy into conspiracy theories?i automatically thought of this site and of jws.
the jws i knew, were the kind of people that would believe in conspiracy theories, and i noticed a small following on this site.. the article that was referenced for this course was: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/26/magazine/why-rational-people-buy-into-conspiracy-theories.html?_r=0.
I haven't read the article but I have a couple of ideas.
I think it's a childish desire to know that there is something in control of everything.
There may also be a strong element of narcissism. If you ever get into a conversation with conspiracy nuts they very quickly become abusive and arrogant. Their ego is fed by the delusion that they know better than everybody else.
My patience with conspiracy sorts is nil.
Holy Crap. I actually agreed with you for once.
Too bad you couldn't actually see those qualities in yourself.
take the case of rolf furuli.
i don't think there has been a specific thread on the hebrew verbs u-turn in the nwt, and how the society has responded to the work of perhaps their brightest and ablest defender in their history.
so here goes.. rolf furuli has defended jws on multiple fronts in many different settings, on issues ranging from chronology, mental health, doctrines, bible translation and the blood issue.
TD
Robert King is does make some good points and you can tell he has been obviously hurt by the borg but the deeper you get into his stuff he is not enlightened, he is just mentally ill.
I really wonder how many JWs have a special room in the basement with bible verses pasted on the wall with tacks and strings trying to connect everything together. It reminds me of that movie a beautiful mind expect they are not very smart.

High profile JW apologists either seem to become “ Born again Christians “ realizing all the things they railed against with such passion like trinity ,hellfire, immortal soul are really in the bible or they go completely batshit crazy like Greg Stanford or Robert King.
Either way, the WTS doesn’t really want to think too much about what you teaching. Thinking it the first step in leaving.
when i think of integrity, a lot of positive connotations come to mind.
i think of individuals grounded in principles, who do not operate on opinions that change based on the breeze of political or social change.
a life that is directed by a code of morality, not on capricious emotions.
I live a few doors down from an elder and he had some extra construction supplies( Insulation). He asked me if I would like to buy it from him and I save the tax and it saves him from taking back to the store. Since I was working on my house, no problem.
He told me he paid 80 dollars a bail and 10 bails so I cut him a check.
Just for fun later I checked it out on the home depot website and he only paid 40 dollars a bail. He screwed me out of 400 dollars.
I asked him about it. He said it was a mistake and he would pay me back. Two years later I am still waiting. Now he just avoids me like the plague.
Too funny. The 400 dollars was worth the lesson I got to show my wife. Don’t trust elders.
"have you given up on organized religion?
in many countries the number of people who describe themselves as not religious is growinga trend that suggests an uncertain future for institutional religion.
some of those lands are shown here.
When I was studying with my elder when I meet my wife I he asked me what kind of religious upbringing I had. I told him I was raised in an plain old protestant evangelical non-denominational church and he looked at with all seriousness
“ Do you think you have been deceived by Satan ? “
It was the first time in my life I think I was highly offended and ready to laugh my ass at the same time. I just sat there with a blank stare, I really had no idea what to say. I thought it might be some kind of dead pan humor at first but sadly it wasn’t.
The smug sense moral superiority of some witnesses is just nuts. They really think they can save people by calling them terrible names at the same time.

I was reading that article last night and for some reason I found it especially pompous and arrogant, even for the watchtower.
Does the average JW even realize that going door to door telling people that they are in a “False Religion” might be a tad big offensive ? I really have no words sometimes.
The WTS really appeals to the abnoixus nature of some people.
