  it's now "game on" between me and the mice.

  my landlady put 15 traps down throughout their apartment on the first floor.

  in 2 weeks i caught the 5 not so bright mice.

  How "spriritual" (cultish) was your congregation?

  scaling the level of cult control within the jw organization on a scale of 1-10, i would say bethel life is probably a 10.. i ended up in a downtown big city congregation, and it had a high influx of uber zealous young people from other parts of the country.

  and, as controlling as the wt publications are, some elders managed to find ways to add more rules.

  All the congregations I associated with were in New England which is a pretty conservative area to begin with. The general attitude in most of them was very "by the book." I was in one congregation in Boston that was composed of about 35% pioneers and 65% publishers - lots of pressure to pioneer.

  i'm watching a jw who is running himself into the ground.. before his last meeting, he sounded really agitated about his life's schedule.

  all i could think of was how the wts was in his way.

  2 service meetings a week (one where a presentation of some sort may have to be given).

  i got coc in the mail yesterday, i am almost done with the book and after using franz's notes with old magazines, i believe he is not a power hungry, man who i was taught went insane from burn-out!.

  i love his updated edition he left us before he passed away, he takes the k.p.

  book and destroys the false history witnesses are taught.

  Does anyone remember the book that preceded the KP? It was called "Jehovah's Witnesses and the Divine Purpose." The whole thing was written like a play; a JW couple explaining the history of the org. to a couple who were studying.

  Taking alcohol into the veins (WBT$ illo) - can someone deconstruct this for me?

  ok. so i've heard that the wbt$ say that having alcohol into the body intraveniously (how do you spell it?

  ), when the doctor says you shouldn't have alcohol is baaaadddd!

  so you wouldn't have a blood transfusion because invisible sky friend jar hoover says it's baaaaaddddddd.. no doubt the illustration is beyond crazy but how is the best way to deconstruct it?.

  as a result of his inspired utterance, i received a flash of insight that has allowed me to predict with uncanny accuracy the exact date for armageddon's arrival.

  so do you think we help the wt society by agreeing to not have any contact with witness family, therefore our family and friends have no resistance to the wt control?.

  what if we fought fire with fire and love bombed back?

  like send holiday greeting cards with picture of all family together saying wish you where here!.

  I know how they feel about cards, etc. I write to them every so often so that they know I'm still alive and well. There's no need for me to stoop to their level and be cruel.
