I meant that Apostates should behave like such people in the picture but instead the organisation behaves much more like them.

Material such as the film at the end of this years convention confirms that I was right to take my kids out the religion
by jambon1 init’s quite affirming to see the horrific material that they’re serving up at the convention this year.
aside from blatant homophobia, the scenes at the end of the convention that are discussed on another thread stoop to new levels of fear mongering.
it seems to occur to nobody inside the organisation that this kind of material could trigger fear, deprsssion, anxiety, stress.

This is the official standpoint of modern JWs about the end of governments
Enemies are ...called governments and there supporters!... included are opposers because they not submit to the kingdom preached of the cult and it's colporteurs
..if one not submitted to JWs they are Opposers..not only nonbelievers ...good news of Armageddon
News.:. if Jehovah's uses magic tools like bow and arrow to fight isn't this a sign that all the stuff is made up?
Quote
The Bible’s answer
The battle of Armageddon refers to the final war between human governments and God. These governments and their supporters oppose God even now by refusing to submit to his rulership. (Psalm 2:2) The battle of Armageddon will bring human rulership to an end.—Daniel 2:44.
The word “Armageddon” occurs only once in the Bible, at Revelation 16:16. Prophetically, Revelation shows that at “the place that is called in Hebrew Armageddon,” “the kings of the entire inhabited earth” will be gathered “together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty.”—Revelation 16:14.
Who will fight at Armageddon? Jesus Christ will lead a heavenly army to victory over God’s enemies. (Revelation 19:11-16, 19-21) These enemies include those who oppose God’s authority and who treat God with contempt.—Ezekiel 39:7.
Will Armageddon literally be fought in the Middle East? No. Rather than being restricted to one area, the battle of Armageddon will encompass the whole earth.—Jeremiah 25:32-34; Ezekiel 39:17-20.
Armageddon, sometimes rendered “Har–Magedon” (Hebrew Har Meghiddohnʹ), means “Mountain of Megiddo.” Megiddo was once a city in the territory of ancient Israel. History tells of decisive battles that were fought in its vicinity, including some that are recorded in the Bible. (Judges 5:19, 20; 2 Kings 9:27; 23:29) However, Armageddon cannot refer to the literal area near ancient Megiddo. There is no large mountain there, and even the entire adjoining Low Plain of Jezreel could not contain all those who will fight against God. Instead, Armageddon is the worldwide situation in which the nations assemble in their last stand against rule by God.
What will conditions be like during the battle of Armageddon? While we do not know how God will use his power, he will have at his disposal weapons such as those he has used in the past—hail, earthquake, flooding downpour, fire and sulfur, lightning, and disease. (Job 38:22, 23; Ezekiel 38:19,22; Habakkuk 3:10, 11; Zechariah 14:12) In confusion, at least some of God’s enemies will kill each other, yet they will ultimately realize that it is God who is fighting against them.—Ezekiel 38:21,23; Zechariah 14:13.
Will Armageddon be the end of the world? It will not be the end of our planet, since the earth is mankind’s eternal home. (Psalm 37:29; 96:10;Ecclesiastes 1:4) Rather than destroying humanity, Armageddon actually saves it, because “a great crowd” of God’s servants will survive.—Revelation 7:9, 14; Psalm 37:34.
Besides referring to the earth, though, the word “world” in the Bible sometimes refers to wicked human society opposed to God. (1 John 2:15-17) In this sense, Armageddon will bring “the end of the world.”—Matthew 24:3, King James Version.
When will Armageddon take place? When discussing the “great tribulation” that culminates in the battle of Armageddon, Jesus said: “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:21, 36) Nevertheless, the Bible does show that Armageddon takes place during Jesus’ invisible presence, which began in 1914.—Matthew 24:37-39.

Watch bullies and stubborn mules running a heartless corporation pretending living peacefully together on the cost of the victims. "Visit our show: Get into the spiritual paradise"
You get applause if you sell your house, give up your career and travel distant to support a need
You get applause if you obeyed and made you to a fool in the school or at work.
Catching a look of a nice girl whilst a meeting and hoping to meet her at the cafeteria after that talk and not scare her with my normal average appearance, long notes or my desire to pioneer and fully devote my life to hova.

He talked about how many ppl access porn sites in a minute, in an hour, how many films are produced in the US in 24 hours, how 9/10 men and 3/10 women regularly access online porn, etc.
So the GB demonstrates herewith how much it is more advantegous to be well informed about exciting current porn statistics than choosing a higher education. So how well and often should publishers imitate this demonstration of "lower porn education" and inform themselves about porn statistics instead of going to university? And shall we wait until it appears in WT stud, studd, studd-y artickles as higher education?
Exciting facts to make his talk less boring. Better a surreal battle in mind against porn than trading with real life

August 2018 Study Watchtower - Some wise words for JW's to consider!
by The Fall Guy indo you have the facts?.
page 3 - as true christians, we need to develop the ability to evaluate information and reach accurate conclusions.. page 4 - it is especially important to avoid (view) websites promoted by apostates.
(awakened jw's) their whole purpose is to tear down (inform) god’s people and to distort (reveal) the truth.

Those aprostates are turrible. They are getting bigger and pretty soon you justcain't keep ignorin' um
It is such an evident danger that soon it might be wise to compare them with the giant evil nephilim, who tyrannized God's people in antiquity. Like apostates they seemed to be bigger and stronger as God's people. They also taught people forbidden things that sounded as if they were revealed heavenly secrets
It is reported by unsupported facts that they were six-armed. Likewise apostates seem to interfere in all belongings of worship in the last days six-fold, ad if they had JW in their grip, mixing truth with lie so enabling exploitation of naive ones with so-called facts and fake citationsthat one can't ignore.

THEY act like the ones who are hurt??!!
by stuckinarut2 init really amazes me when jws act like we are hurting them!.
many of us have found that if we stop associating with them for valid reasons, they act all upset and hurt that we would be "so cruel as to limit our association or cut them off".
i know of friends here on the forum who have been told by parents that they "will shun them if they leave jehovah" , and yet when the shoe is on the other foot and our awake friends shun them first, the parents cry and bemoan the situation and say how "cruel it is to deprive them of their company".

They are just imitating the bible story of the "Prodigal Son"/"Lost Son" in a certain- strange - kind. This story has been countless times basis of "biblical dramatisiations" at conventions where a grown up JW child "LEAVES" the family /the faith (the father in the story) and gets into troubles in he world outside the family. These children are seen as lost or dead. After the son aka the erring and wandering child gambles the family heritage or business by having "worldly friends" or "businesspartners" the mentally shattered RENEGADE finally "RETURNS" to his family /the father aka congregation +Jehovah after he understands that he lived much better before in the family. Only then after coming back the child gets forgiveness.
Its always the Son who leaves and who has to return to the father. And forgivness is only possible after returning. So simple bible principle, it seems.
But now the single POINT of failure in this dramatisations.
In the parable the father forgives the son before the son even tells him about a repentance.
I: FORGIVENESS V.20 “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
2. REPENTANCE. 21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
This is how God is portrayed by Jesus.
---
This is a Mormon interpretation of the story.
