only recently the Church had abolished the limbo for newborns who were not baptized und for aborted unborn innocent ones as well as for millions unbaptized been born before Christ, now why the hell had to give way just for a best friend of Francis named Scalfari who talks with him, doesnt make notes but later publishes what he memorizes as if he had an ecclesiastical magisterium is a mistery to me.

by eyeuse2badub injehober told the israelites at zechariah 4:6 .
“this is the word of jehovah to ze·rub′ba·bel: ‘“not by a military force, nor by power, but by my spirit,” says jehovah of armies".
why in the hell did he have them form a 603,550 man army according to numbers 1st chapter vs 46;.

by berrygerry inhttps://www.childabuseroyalcommission.gov.au/religious-institutions.
one of our case studies examined the responses of the jehovah’s witness organisation to allegations of child sexual abuse.
we also held an institutional review hearing to provide an opportunity for the jehovah’s witness organisation to inform us of its current policies and procedures in relation to child protection and child safe standards, including responding to allegations of child sexual abuse.as of 31 may 2017, of the 4,029 survivors who told us during private sessions about child sexual abuse in religious institutions, 70 survivors told us about abuse in the jehovah’s witnesses.

Europe: Now after the final report of the commission has been published, the story of this horrible failure of all religions to report offenders to the authorities has also achieved worldwide attention and Jehovahs witnesses are officially part of this tragedy.
German and Austrian daily papers wrote about the winking at child abuse like Spiegel, Berliner Zeitung or Salzburger Zeitung on 16th December. It is called a "national tragedy" or "horrible failure" of religious organisations.
The Salzburger Nachrichten e.g. gave 5 columns to this matter and headed:
"Covered up, concealed and relocated".
Here Jehovahs witnesses are mentioned immediately after the Catolic Church. Under the subheader Looking away should be punishable in the future" the paper writes: "Thus, the Catholic Church was no exception. Even the "Jehovah's Witnesses" should have tolerated 1,000 alleged perpetrators.". (The author seems to highlight this astonishing news ...even JW who so much condem the catolic church)
Der Spiegel prints also this table with 1,7 % share of JW victims.
This is not good news in pre christmas time.

The Creation of Jesus
by berrygerry inseeing a trinity thread.. can a jw apologist explain what (not who) is jesus?.
prior to the creation of everything 13.7 billion years ago (draw close book), jehovah created jesus as his firstborn, his only-begotten.. there was nothing else - no stars, no dust, no matter - just jehovah - and then, just jehovah and jesus.
so, what was jesus?.

Jesus was what? A heavenly spirit-creature ( Pr. 8,22, Re 3,14: Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the beginning of the creation by God). Jehovah did not use preexistent material.
Jehovah was what? A spirit creature and he doesn not need material energy. He is spirit and uses spirit to create.
This kind of divine spirit, the basis of gods creation, does not need any energy out from material universe to create heavenly persons. It was a creation process simply in "spiritual realm" where Jehovah exists and dwells. This also because it happened before the creation of the material universe.
And as the material universe was created by "active force" , spirit, ru'ach , which was moving over the surface of the waters, Ge,1,2 , this demonstrates how the heavenly spiritual realm and persons were also created by "active force" out of gods mouth.
So Jesus would be a spiritual "WHAT", a heavenly something, but not a material "WHAT". These are two separated spheres in which God is able to create creatures. here and there. When the word once got flesh and God turned Michael into Jesus the spiritual what got material what and this to an extent of 100%. The spiritual what changed to material what and back. A mixture of both is not possible. Either spirit person or man.
This would be my answer if I would be apologist of JW. I hope I didnt misinterpret any JW or intervene into personal agenda. I have no evidence except the watchtowers that taught me to think so.
One could however looking over this credo can also say that the pre-existing Jesus was never a "material" fact, but only a "spiritual" idea. Like a fantasy creature. An idea that evolved because Jesus was seen close to God, that they didnot see and difference any more between the material what and the spiritual what. A spiritual reality that must have existed ever alongside God. Their Jesus got then the middlesman between the spiritual realm and the visible world. The Jesus became Christ.

Drearyweather wrote: Abraham did lot of works in obedience to God and because of his love for him, like leaving his home and personal luxuries behind, circumcising the male members of his family, readiness to sacrifice Isaac, etc. However, the credit for his righteousness did not go to this works, but to his Faith - Genesis 15:6.
I like Drearyeathers illustration very much. However, I think Abrham could not even present works but in contrary he had only little faith and he only barely believed. It was the spark of faith that counted. Circumsicion is not a work, how the baptism is not a work but a sign, a testimony.
Dont let us forget that Abraham was - even after the covenant - a tricky person, a liar, a disputable person, he betrayed his wife, and created many family problems, only after 100 years God allowed that he procreated a son. For more than 100 years God - according to the story - God forgave him and corrected his mistakes and had to intervent to correct his mistakes. And only after 100 he latetly understood Gods will a little bit indeed, his faith had grown though and therefore it was time for God to test him, he shoud sacrifce his son and kill him with a knife, what he again did not understand, but he tried hard to do it, he had faith, trust, confidence.
He was not a hero of "good deeds", "works", or "theocraticve achievements", but only had one thing - a little bit trust, he barely believed - and now after 100 years he didnt understand why he should gilden his faith by killing his son, what he did not in fact (it was only a story) and also fortunately, because otherwise the divine promise could not come true.
Although he was apart from that an example of a sinner, a slow and weak person, a godless rapscallion in his heart, this situation must have been really difficult for him after he had found finally a little faith in God, then suddenly such a final examination/test!
The story only expresses with the mean of such a crucial test using the ancient "human sacrifice" as pattern, (although for our sense it might be unloving) that only entire devition to God is what - also accompanied by awful endurance test - leads to the "true life" and the fullfillment of the promise.
However it was neither this "test" nor the circumcision, nor the convenant, nor his 100 years of divine education, intervention and correction (what made him ancestor of a promise) what would have been the requirement to be loved by God. It was Abrahams however the original tiny seed of faith, that ingenious faith, which took roots, that was credited as righteousness.
From this perspective - taken Abraham as example of a man who BARELY believed and barely passed those tests of faith, however had a spark of faith - not only a little flock, but billions of people, "ungodly" people, liars with a spark of faith, should indeed not fear that their little faith would not be credited as righteousness.
BTW: Charles Taze Russel, Joseph F. Rutherford are only a few examples in the organsation that followed his example, they were tricky and liars and created many problem in the bethel family that even today leads to suffering of thousand of honest Christians. They had a spark of faith. But even after 100 years God has not yet enough intervened to correct the manmade rules. However these two might even be also heirs of the promise, not because of deeds, works, service hours in pioneering, donations, but because of Gods love. The crucial test however for the GB as for anyone could yet stand before them anytime. For them the test will be certainly much severe. Would they really bring such a "human" sacrifice, let their children or parents die without blood e.g. which they await from others? Whatfor actually if a spark of faith is enough?

Such interviews are not made incidental but well prepared for the stage what demonstrates again the degree of stubborness, cussedness and forced internalization of commandements what distinguishes JW and is demanded of them by the supervisiors, called "biblical edcuation", a well perpared demonstration to snatch the applause of the audience.

Illogical illustration of “the rich man and the poor man Lazarus” (Luke 16:19-31)
by venus inillustration of the rich man and the poor man lazarus indirectly hints that the materially rich would go to hell and the poor ones to heaven.
if one reads between the lines, one can discern that this illustration is a later adoption intended to exploit the rich using the poor as a means.. i have friends who are extremely rich (net-worth in billions) and also who are materially very poor, and have found both are living in hell because of their attitude.
the excess the rich have prevents them from enjoying it (and even the affluent find a huge gap between income and desires, hence find themselves often in conflict and competition) and whereas the deprived compare themselves with the haves which prevents them also from enjoying their lives.. jesus would not provide an illustration that undermines his own most favored statement: “happy are those poor in spirit because kingdom of heavens belongs to them” (mathew 5:3) and his own explanation that heaven is the condition of one’s heart (luke 17:21) obviously he had in mind those who do not have the baggage of attachment and sense of possession, those few people of simplicity that belong to both the categories—the rich and the poor. simplicity is the ultimate sophistication, a stage where every possession serves a purpose living a life that is deliberate and intentional (not one that someone else has scripted for them) and wanting to feel more complete (not more objects of the world), at ease.

Obviously he had in mind those who do not have the baggage of attachment and sense of possession, those few people of simplicity that belong to both the categories—the rich and the poor.
Cardinal Schönborn, Vienna: "The Gospel of the poor, begging for a gift in the doorstep of the rich, exhorts men to do what is most important in the sight of God. This admonition in the parable of the "rich and poor Lazarus" is not connected with a condemnation of the rich by Jesus, emphasized Cardinal Christoph Schönborn on Saturday evening in Vienna's St. Stephen's Cathedral.
"Jesus himself had rich friends in Bethany," recalled the Cardinal. If, in the parable of the nameless rich man and the poor Lazarus, he made a harsh judgment, it was not because "the rich man is attracted to brandname clothing, but because the rich man does not see the poor before his own door."
The "dramatic" and actually sinful in the lives of most people are not the mistakes, but the omissions, the Viennese archbishop said: "What we miss, what we do not perceive what we overlook." Everyone must ask themselves, "Where is Lazarus in front of my door?"or how another commentator wrote: "there is no way to god, except with Lazarus".
Another comment by this archbishop to the sunday gospel reading about Lazarus is this "who is your Lazarus"
..."I do not believe that Jesus sees this as something automatic: the poor are good in the poor, the poor are good. His message is rather: It depends on what you do now, how you behave today. There are rich that have a great heart. There are poor that close their hearts. Your eternal lot does not decide. It's in your hands today. Look outside your door! Who is your Lazarus?

ECONOMIC SITUATION IN ROMAN PALESTINE
Another important factor we should consider is the soical economic background of the story. The jewish society was very solidarian. A poor one had pratically a public right for a support. It was regulated so.It was usual to invite poorer on holidays:
“Go, my son, and find one of our poorer relatives captive here in Nineveh, someone who pays attention to God with all his heart. Bring him here to eat with me. I will wait here, son, until you return.” Tobit 2,2
There was an instituionalised right for social services. Supporting widows and orphans (fatherless boys) got proverbal. Much is about this matter in the literature under the subjects jewish welfare, i stop because i am missing time now, however one important thing: about 90 % of jewish people in roman palestine have been according to a source poor people, they were wageworkers or slaves. Other sources say that it was not so bad.
Therefore such a religious welfare institution was absolutely necessary and seldom one was let completely alone in this community network. About the roman jews was said that jewish children learned from the youth to beg, they were known as beggars in Rome. Besides them there were the cynics, people who decided volunatarily to live poor and to beg.
