Good point Diamondiiz, It will be interesting to see what happens. I hope to get my family out. Even if people leave by the thousands, the foreign language field will more than make up for the " apostates " who leave. They can groom the next generation of servants and Elders from those poor people. In my own congregation no one has been appointed for 5 years. There are several reasons for this. Most of those reaching out have given up because they are never good enough. Others see the truth and wouldn't take the job if you paid them. Once you reach a certain level of awareness you no longer have anything the corporation desires. It is like the military, if your are not broken before you reach your mid-twenties, you personality is set. Many men have nothing that the society wants. We are too old or too smart. They like 'em young and dumb, and eager to please. Good michrophone handling skills are a bonus!!!!

This is no joke. An elder who was at my home was regailing us with tales from the Elders School. Guess what he had learned all about?! There is an appendix in the back of the NWT with all kinds of stuff in it, like old words and junk! Also, I should see what the insight book says under Jehovah because there is a lot of stuff there too!!

All witnesses will be required to wear convention style badges 24/7, identifying where they attend meetings. Plus all males reaching out must wear Kaki pants ( with pleats ) a polo shirt tucked in ( sleeves long enough to cover the bi-ceps ) and a braided leather belt. White tennis shoes must be worn. Hair is to be parted from left to right, indicating that ones heart is " right " toward the GB. No sex on family worship night, or meeting nights, or prior to field service, or prior to bible reading, or after because of interfering with meditation time.

There are some old adverisements in the Awake magazine that say " Many now living will may never die " I believe it is an 84 Awake. It is just an ad, but if you do the math they could stretch things out until at least 2099. That would be a great announcement! I hope Atlantis or someone else starts packing spy gear to these meetings. If they stop printing BOE letters then we need some insiders to step up!

I hated it. I was an A+ geometry student, but a C- Algebra student. In Algebra I could get the answer, just not the way I was supposed to. Plus I gave a jerky kid a beatdown in gym, and he just happened to be my Algebra teacher's kid. Oops! I would also become paralyzed at the blackboard, at least everyone got a good laugh.

Yes, they do hate Jesus according to thier own teachings. Strong's number G3404: to love less, or persecute. Jesus said if we love him we will follow his commandments. ( John 14:15 ) Since they do not follow Jesus' commands, they do not love him. They hate him, or love him less than their own traditions and man-made doctrines, and commandments of men. They also persecute him. ( Acts 9:3-5 ) They persecute Christ by persecuting his brothers who they falsely lable as Apostates because these will not cower to thier false doctrines. By hating Jesus, they hate YHWH by extension.

Question about reporting fellow JWs.

does anyone remember what scriptures they base reporting another person's "wrongdoing" to the elders?.
i put "wrongdoing" in quotes so i could user their term and you could be reported for anything.. i know they have used the scripture about going to the person first, that is rarely followed, i know it is common practice to tell on eachother, i just can't remember if they even pretend to make it scriptual.. thanks.

I had an Elder recently tell me that even if a Wife has an issue with her Husband she must talk with her husband present. I can tell you that is not followed. I am currently getting busted for reading the Elder's book, not even all of it. I am also being looked at because I mentioned in a private conversation with my Wife that I wondered if any doctrines will change because they have in the past. I mentioned the 144,000 and how the number of partakers is growing, not decreasing. Well she told them that too, so now 2 of them want to meet, just to make sure we are all thinking straight. They follow a scripture when it suits them, and ignore it when they benefit from doing so.

Some one hacked the Sony website a while ago. I am sure the WTBTS isn't that secure. If you piss off the wrong people with tech-skills, you are going to have problems. Get enough kids with skills that have been molested and you are screwed.

Watchtower Library NOT identical to printed publications
by cedars ini realise the title of this thread will come as no surprise to many of you.
i've certainly heard before of subtle variations between extracts from the watchtower library and the actual printed literature.. what i didn't expect was to find this openly admitted to in the license agreement for the watchtower library, where it says in article 4:.

Foreign language and born-ins are the new members. If you cant read well, grab a new brochure with pics. If you are in your teens and don't have a damn clue who was President in the 80's you surely won't know why the CD library only goes back to the 50's. Just turn on your i-phone and get the new info that only goes back to 2000! These are the same people who are so misled that when the GB says that you can't even go check in to your hotel for the DC, without being dressed like Caleb's dad, they think nothing of it. I know that sentence structure sucked, but it is true! You are not supposed to show up at a hotel dressed in a worldly fashion, aka shorts and t-shirt in the summer! We don't want to give a bad witness now. I'll take a ex-prison biker in leather next to my kid before i'll take Brother Polo Mc No-pockets and his baby elephant magic show.
