I would save everything you can get your hands on. If I was an Elder, I would be making copies of everything I could for future use. I am not in that position so I have to rely on the shrewdness of others. By the way, I do appreciate all of you working on the inside who know TTATT.

Born-ins (childhood memories)

i remember not being allowed to go to sleep in the meetings when i was tired.
not being allowed to do lots of things at school other kids could do.

Bad memories, hmmmm???? Well, looking back I had it pretty good. I grew up on a farm, played outside all day. The meetings were boring, I never paid that much attention. My father was in the Military when he was young and all his family came into the " truth " while he was away. We have a huge family, only a few are not dubs. I am just now starting to understand how weird that must have been for him. I lacked direction as a child, and went through some years being angry at my parents. Now I realize that my mom was decieved by a cult, and my Dad was often unfairly branded as an un-believer, whatever that means. My parents did thier best, and I am realizing now, as I approach 40, how cool and honest my dad is, and very generous and kind-hearted. He is " studying " now. I really think he just does it because he thinks he needs to for his own children to respect him. He has no idea about my feelings about TTATT. I need to clue him in soon. My mom was cool too. She was a women trying to raise kids, in a religiously divided home, she did not know any better. My parents fought some, but not too much. My mom bought me some cool toys, some of which I still have in a box. My childhood was not too bad, I was an introvert so I could be happy alone with a book when times were bad. I was depressed and faked many illnesses to skip school. My mom knew I was faking and playing Zelda in the basement, it was all good as long as I made up my assignments. We did not go in service much, or have many family studies so I learned to think and reason logically, well that is wrk in progress... I had some good teachers who helped me learn to reason, and i could read, and I have never been afraid to look at whatever information is available. I guess that helped too. My mom took psychology in school and always though outside the box, so I am a little puzzled as to why she became a dub. Family pressure maybe? I guess when your whole family comes in you just go with it. We have access to so much more information about the WTBTS available than our parents did. I wonder what my parents would have learned if they had the internet back then???
My biggest regret is that my Father did not make me get more education. I know going to school would have change my life. I realize now that only having a high-school education severely limits your freedom and options in life.
One funny thing that I have just realized is that I have never completely read 1 book from the WTBTS! I have never read any new publications at conventions either! I just never really bought into it. Now I have decisions to make like the rest of us. I do regret the Us VS Them mentality. I missed out on making some good friends because everyone was " worldly " and bad association. I was also a real holier-than-thou jerk to people sometimes, and I wish I could undo those things....

Awesome pictures!! Thanks for the comparison. I saw the creepy ram's head right away, whats up with that? I love the change from perfectly acceptable hot wife who likes sex, to dumpy puritan-like wife waiting for hubby after a 5 hour long JC meeting. He needs to get some frustration out within the bonds of the marital arrangement ( no kinky stuff, WT approved sex only).

Nice job Blondi! I noticed those same points as well, and raised my hand, but I was not called on. This may be due to some recent investigations by the local Elders. I used only WTBTS quotes and articles in my arguments which they could not refute. I am trying to start a slow fade. I was running a michrophone and actually let out a small chuckle during the " study ". The part about human reasoning and " updates " and " revisions " was unbelievable to me! Of course, no one noticed because they are all to beaten down and tired, skinned and thrown about.....

I have seen some craft too. Twice actually. They were very bizarre and silent. What I saw were goverment experimental craft, in my opinion. I don't know what you saw, but I believe you saw it. In my area of the world there is an Air Force base within 100 miles or so, the logical explanation for me was " government " U.F.O. I guess I shouldn't say there are no other beings out there, because I cannot prove it and the Universe is a huge place with many unsolved mysteries. Honestly, if little greem men showed up like in Close Encounters, I would go with them, no questions asked.

bohm, that was a wild guess. I Love physics. I shouldn't lump all theoretical physics together as a waste. That being said, Mis-information and withholding truth is par for the course. You don't keep a billion people in subjection by letting them have youtube. If they do manage to get it, the only way to squelch the truth is an equal campaign of lies or half-truths along with painting your opponents as wackos ( think WT and mentally diseased apostates). Another method is to simply remove information from the text books, pretty soon no one is around to remember what everyone knew was true from practical cause and effect experimentation as opposed to theoretical, never put into practice ( for the common man ) science. What the common man doesn't know is what makes him the common man. The WTBTS removes old publications from the CD Library, and they change the text from the original articles before they go in a bound-volume. Pretty soon the next generation doesn't know enough to realize that they are being screwed. The Governments do the exact same things. Very few people alive now, know the truths proven again and again through history because information is supressed. It has to be supressed for some to stay in power. The Governments take what works the best and keep it for themselves, period. If you think the Space Shuttle designed with 1930's technology is the best Uncle Sam has then you are in for a rude awakening. Remember BIG secrets can be kept. No one, not even Truman, prior to becoming President, had any clue that atomic weapons were being developed in the U.S. Truman served on a committee that kept track of Government spending. The need-to-know, don't want Joe Six-pack to know. They want you to sit down, eat your soylent green, watch foot-ball and keep your mouth shut.

All the theoretical physics ( Good Will Hunting ) super-long boring, raises more questions than answers- non practical goes nowhere and helps no one school of thought, is a bunch of BS, government stooge smokescreen tax dollar wasting junk. The real practical application of U.F.O technology is all man-made, not alien. The great thinkers of the world, real scientists like Tesla and his predecessors and contemporaries, like Werner Von Braun, have already mastered tech that we will never see. All the crap we puchase at WAL-MART and Best-Buy is pure spin-off, stood on the shoulders of giants, Government doesn't need it anymore crap, pure and simple. You have an I-pad 2??!! Big Deal... Uncle Sam and China can vaporize you from space after they see through your home, and write down what you had for breakfast from the moon if they want to. They have been zipping around from the Earth to the Moon for decades. What we occassionally see are screw ups, and test flights and accidents ( Roswell ). The whole alien thing is just a smokescreen to create 2 groups of people, the Rational thinkers, and the Alien conspiracy nut-jobs, then the Government uses both ends against the middle. It's like Democrat vs Rebulicans. It doesn't matter who wins because the same people are behind it all and they do what they must to stay at the top regardless. The real illusion is that YOU matter at all. There is no way the common man will ever be allowed access to technology that would make him equal to the top brass. Hey everyone, guess what? I can build an electro-propulsive craft with 1920's technology and never spend a dime on gasoline or diesel or ethanol ever again. Oh, by the way, I can easily go anywhere in the world whenever I want at 500-1,000 miles per hour. You can be free too, just like me! I am going to tell you how to do it at a press conference tomorrow!! OOPS!!! Breaking news!! Local man dies of mysterious heart-attack. His entire family has also been tied to a terrorist sleeper cell. The Government is calling this one of the best victories against domestic terrorists in recent history. A little example of how severely the contributions for the Society are drying up
by sir82 injust a little tidbit from the congregation i attend..... the congregation has approximately 120 publishers.. well over 1000 magazines per month are picked up, not to mention all the books, brochures, and tracts that are picked up.. there was a "local needs" part on the service meeting recently, asking for more contributions.. it seems our congregation has averaged just about $300 per month contributions to the "worldwide work" over the past year.. .
assuming 1500 magazines / month, that's just 20 cents per magazine - and that completely ignores all other literature that is picked up.. the last price the magazines had, 20+ years ago, was 25 cents per issue.
with inflation that would have been about 50 cents each now.. just another sign of how severely the contriutions to the society are drying up..... .

Wow!! Our local needs was all about contributing money too! The brother giving the part said, " We are NOT saying this as an amount, but let's say every publisher gave $10 per month.....". Wait until you read the next WT study article! I am sure Blondi will cover it well. Basically they want you to be poor, spend all your extra time for them, and don't work too much... you know, stay right at the poverty line. In the meantime they will keep expanding factories and buying and selling because it in done in the interest of God's Kingdom. So if you earn some extra dough or send your child to school beyond High School, it has no future. If THEY plan ahead it has a future!! When you find yourself on the arena floor in a wheelchair, and you can't wait for lunch to eat your cat-food you bought at Shop-n-Save so you can afford your medication, don't expect one red cent from them rewarding you for all your years of loyalty...

I know how you feel. It is a strange place to be. Have you ever visited Jwstruggle.com? You can visit and see what you think. You can vent and talk about whatever you want without being judged. It really helped me. There are a lot of other people in your situation. You are not alone. Remember it is not you, there are huge problems within the WTBTS. There are many kind people in the organization, but they just don't know TTATT. What you do is totally up to you. I know it is scary, it doesn't matter if you are 15, 18 or 40, it is still scary. Talking to others who are in the same situation will really help you.
Hang in there, it will get better.
