I know it's frustrating. The quotes were great, right out of the WT, I wish I could find them! I have started printing off interesting articles and leaving them on the fridge!

I don't know what it would accomplish. Yes I want out, and I want my family out. I guess i should know better than to think i could wake anyone up.
I guess I was fantasizing about how great it would be to make them look like idiots. That is not a very noble motive for doing anything..... Maybe if I am patient things will work out better. It's frustrating!!!

Since 6/21/2012I would not ask anyone to read the mind-numbing, cognitive dissonance igniting crap that is the SEPT 15 WT. I am just really pissed off today!!
I have been told that C.D is good. You must decide what to do when you experience it. So Then it would appear that the WT specializes at numbing the part of your mind that should send a warning. So C.D igniting crap would not be technically correct. You want C.D, and then you want to act accordingly.

If and when Holt gets a trial...
by Aussie Oz inpresuming he does get a trial.... would the fbi or police, prosecution or defense teams look into whether the elders may have known about his child porn?
would they look at why he stepped down as an m/s?.
i am imagining that if they do, and they do find that the elders had knowledge of his predilictions could this be yet another bad turn of events for the wt?.

I knew someone who was making porno's that were leaked to children in several congregations. They were not DF'd. Then there is the guy in Florida who murdered people and became a Dub. The Elders basically said " We are not the police, work on the fruitage of the spirit ". So WHY would anyone think that Jonathan Holt would be promptly Df'd for child porn? It all depends on the BOE, and if they believed he was truly repentant. Hopefully we will learn the real story, but i see no reason to assume the BOE didn't know about the porn. Does viewing child porn constitute involvement in " abuse " of children under the law? You are supporting an industry that abuses children after all. So IF that is true and Oregon requires ministers to report suspected or actual abuse of children then perhaps the BOE would be liable in some way. Had they gone to the police perhaps some children being victimized could have been saved. There are a lot of IFs. I am no lawyer, just wondering....

If you are not yet DF'D, take the opportunity at next major cleaning to plant a bug in the Elders room. You can purchase a remote operated unit. So when your meeting comes up, or any meeting you want to hear, just remotely turn on the bug. With some you can even broadcast to your car or dowload directly to your PC, although I have not tried this yet. I may, and I would of course let everyone know the results. The point being that if you are asked if you have a listening device, you can say NO. Theocratic warfare escalation!!

OK.. So as in the case of the sower, not being a sower if he did not sow seeed ( although that is not the actual point of THAT parable) the steward or servant would not be the " faithful and discreet slave if they were neither. Saying that ho is a collective is eisegetic. They are trying to interpret the verses to support their pre-concieved doctrine. It is all silly anyway because it is a parable and not a prophecy, right?
