I guess if you want to partake at the KH you can. I have to decide for myself. I consider it a false religious celebration as JW's celebrate it. Maybe I am being too judgemental? MP, I have never read that. What are you getting at? I will say this, If you are of the mined that over the centuries the scriptures have been tampered with I agree with you. I don't really know if what is in the modern Bible really belong there, or what is missing. I just know what speaks to me in the NT. I also think all organized religion must go because it is divisive. That which is crooked cannot be made straight. It is time to back up and punt. Men in power who fear losing what they think they have will never change. I think organized religion will end, maybe not in my lifetime. If a system is unsustainable it will end.

Don't forget that in 1898 Tesla demonstrated a radio controlled boat in New York. Even radio controlled items are commonplace now, that was not the case then. That boat was a toy, a hobby of his if you will. People to this day make replicas of his earlier works.

Here is question: They demoted all the Apostles, everyone from 33c.e to 1919, and any claiming to be annointed ( except themselves/GB ). HOW do they get rid of Rutherford's teachings? Will brazen conduct include reading " old light "? Anything C.T Russell said can be discounted because he was not part of the FDS. Not so with Rutherford. Perhaps a loyalty oath will need to be signed along with pledging a certain amount of income to the WT, perhaps based on income? Being so deep in the last days the GB may ask for displays of loyalty. I partook at home in private last year. I baked my own bread and bought wine. I will this year as well. When I disclosed my partaking to other " Christians " it was met with ridicule and disbelief. I will not celebrate at the Kingdom Hall this year. I informed the Elders that I partook and I could tell how they really felt about my decision. I forgive them because they are misled. I wil not participate in a celebration that asks Christians to refuse to drink and eat the emblems. I will be considered disturbed by those who know I partook last year. Why last year, but not this year? Also I have no " privileges " because I disagreed with certain " theocratic " procedures. I am considered to be in danger of becoming an apostate. LOL!! I don't know about all this. I have seen some really lazy-brained people. I won't say dumb because the brain seems to very similar to the human body as far as adapting as needed. Think of the body. Let's be more specific, Bruce Lee's body. He admittted that he was not " naturally " athletic. He just trained and wanted/needed to accomplish something for himself. He was a self-actualizer. Look at what an average, relatively healthy body can do. I don't believe that some people are not naturally athletic. We are all naturally athletic. Some people are just raised in an enviroment where there is no need to adapt to stressful situations. The body does adapt, just to an easier situation. In fact the body is so awesome at adaptation that new physical challenges must be added regularly to stimulate growth. Your body gets used to what you require of it. If you took a reasonably healthy person and threw them in a old school logging camp and said " work or die " and you fed them right, the transformation you would see would be incredible. You know it's true because of shows like " The Biggest Loser " in the U.S. If that same person had an identical twin or clone and they spent their days in an office, eating junk, pushing a button every hour, they would adapt to that life as well.
The same is true of the mind. It will adapt to any situation given enough time. If you are in an enviroment that discourages reasoning then you will adapt. If you just have to push a button all day in an assembly line then you adapt to that. If the boss says that starting tomorrow you will be in charge of 5 buttons then the stress begins. That's ok! The stress will cause your mind to adapt. Soon 5 buttons will be no problem. So lazy-brained people are not dumb. They just lack the proper enviroment to promote adaptation and growth. We need a societal change to help people reach their potential. The problem as I see it is that other powerful people know this too. Knowledge is power. Anyone who was a dub or is a dub ( just for an example, not hijacking ) just think what would happen if reasoning and open discussion was allowed and encouraged. There would be no WTBTS as we know it anymore. If people could be nurtured and helped to reach their true mental potential their whole life would change. They would change those around them as well. I don't think society is getting dumber, just mentally and spiritually lazy. We have been conditioned to only go so far, to only think so far. It makes us easy prey. That needs to change.
I am speaking of healthy individuals. I realize that a person can be born with a mental or physical defect that could limit their abilities.

I don't know what is going on, but I loved that post. If you believe in the scriptures then you partake. I am sure I am missing something here, still that's how I see it. The JW'S are wrong about many things. This subject is one of the biggest. No human has the right to close the door to heavenly life. Even if you don't personally believe in the New Testament, or God, it is clear that the Bible doesn't teach anything about a great crowd of [ other sheep ]. Rutherford designed that to created a working class to rule over. He was wrong, even by dub standards. There could be no GB 2.0 today if he was correct.
