Agreed, everyone knows it’s a crime.

It could be that in their delusional state, each “generation” believed the end was close, so there would be strong motivation to “wait on Jehovah” to weed out the few false Xian’s that were surely at the root of the problem.

Then again, it could be that the leaders have always known that pedophiles operate in the Org. It’s been revealed that Ted Jaracz might be one, and his name could be on the data-base. If that’s true and he was never removed and even shared in shaping the policies of the Org, then the Org has much more to answer for than ignorant neglect.

I personally have no doubt that the religious Right is doing all they can to stay in power, and why wouldn’t they choose people who they believe will further the agenda that best serves them as a group?

That’s human nature as a whole and the Left is no different, they will also “bless” any who they feel will ensure that they retain power.

the kilbirnie congregation in scotland was "relocated" in january 2018 - almost 2 years ago - to the nearest kingdom hall a few miles away in irvine.

the reason given by london bethel was that kilbirnie kh was "scheduled for a refurbishment.

" how long does it take to initiate a kh refurbishment, for goodness sake?.

Yep, it used to be that the congregations who shared the KH would get together and remodel in a week or two at most. A center of “True Worship” vacant for 2 years is un-f’ing believable!!

The truth is that the “Congregation” is the Body of Christ and the GB are that body, (in their delusional minds) and they run a tax free Real Estate/Property Management company and the Dubs need to STFU and do what they are told.

The GB stole all the KH’s and extra funds and that’s the truth.

Upon learning of a terminal illness would you return to being a JW to appease your family?

this is an hypothetical question...i am doing well.

but i was thinking about how my jw family, grandchildren and all will feel when their inactive grandfather dies with no hope of being reunited in paradise.

of course there would be immediate rejoicing if i came back to the "truth" and a surge of conditional love from the "friends".
