1.5 months ago there was a perfectly timed Reddit topic about JW false prophecies that made it on to the front page of Reddit. This certainly didn't bold so well for their historic campaign. The front-page of Reddit had over 135 million unique visitors last month. The TIL (Today I Learned) subreddit alone, where it was originally posted, has 6.6 million subscribers. It was a huge anti-witness when the topic read " TIL Jehovah's Witnesses have falsely predicted the end of the world 20 times."
This week yet another TIL topic came about making it to the front-page again. Millions are viewing and thousands are discussing the 100 year anniversary of 1914, here.
EDIT: Sorry I had the wrong link in there for the second TIL topic.
@Emery With all respect... those 'gazillion apostate websites' are no competition at all. Well known sites like JWfacts.com and a forum like jehovahs-witness.net hardly get any visitors at all.
You're correct as far as those sites go, however, don't be so quick to dismiss my argument. Just last month there was a perfectly timed /r/TIL (Today I Learned) Reddit topic about JWs that made it on to the front page of Reddit. The front-page of Reddit had over 135 million unique visitors last month . The TIL subreddit alone has 6.6 million subscribers. It was a huge anti-witness when the topic read "TIL Jehovah's Witnesses have falsely predicted the end of the world 20 times."
Not happening, but its funny how naive JWs are to really believe something like this. Why can't Jehovah come down from the clouds and destroy the internet or something?
Great analysis, I think it's smart but they're very late to the party. This campaign would have been brilliant back during the dot-com boom, not 13 years later having to compete with a gazillion apostate websites.

Smart move if your print company is going digital. No need for buildings and workers when JW.ORG allows them to accomplish work remotely from any location with internet access.
