  I thought I was the only one who had mastered the
  "FAKE PRESSING OF THE DOORBELL" while i was a teenager.
  I had a friend
  that would block the view from the car, just as it

  the wicked evil smurfs

  when i was young, there was a rumor through out our circut, that the smurfs were demonized.

  we were told at once to destroy all smurf toys, dolls, and figures.

  there were storys flying around about talking smurf statue figures, that would get up and walk across the floor, ect... does anyone remember this, or did it only happen in my part of the world?

  dogpatch, I went to the sites you posted, and laughed my a$$ off.
  I wish I could remember all the stories I heard as a child

  pettygrudger, telletubies, I believe were hit by a few other religons
  as well for being "GAY" I can't argue that,I seen the show once.

  automatic weapons and things

  as a matter of interest, how easy or difficult is it to purchase weapons in america?.

  i see films like terminator, where it appears you can buy anything from rocket launchers to kalashnikov ak 74s.. can someone educate me on this?.

  rocket launchers might be a little far fetched.
  as far as military semi-automatic weapons, if you have the cash,
  haven't commited a felony (yet), and pass an FBI background check
  (usually takes up to three days) you can own about any firearm that is not fully automatic.laws vary between states.
  That is the legal way to own a gun in the U.S.
  Criminals know, all it takes is money, and you can by pass the rest.

  that urban legend was in the states too.

My sisters and I watched in horor as all smurfs were rounded up, and placed in consentration camps (burn barrels) and exterminated. It wasn't very smurfy to watch.

  Overweight JWs -- on the increase?

  yes, i know, the title is a pun.

  it was deliberate.. i can recall in the 1970s seeing very few overweight jws.

  in fact, i used to think (in my arrogant jw manner) that this was a sign of how jws were better at self-control than worldly people.

  you will never see me post anything hatefull towards JW's
  on this site, however, I feel that the main point of this
  topic is true.I understand the "pain" and "hurt" these people
  suffered when the cheese danish's were gone.It was a feeling
  that no left over apple danish could sooth.

  seeker,
  that had to be the funnyist post I have ever read.That brought back
  alot of memorys. I was about 14 or 15 during the change over
  between "paying" and "free food" at assemblys. The cream cheese danish
  was a highly sought after item.they were usually all gone by the middle of the second day. We were sitting behind a quite large woman
  once who had six children. Each childs job during the noon hour was to go around to each food stand and get four danishs,pack them back to mama,and move on to the next food stand. The mother had several
  brown paper bags, and her husbands job was to pack them to the car when one was filled.Ah, those were the days.

  first off, i am not a jw anymore,was one for over 20 years.haven't set foot in the kingdom hall for 9 years.

  my question is"why not be truthful about what this site is?

  "this site is set up to look at first appearence as a legitimit witness site.why the "front"?if users here are proud of their x-jw status,or are proud of the fact they have left the wbts organization,why isn't this site named x-jehovah witness.com ?

  I never thought about that, your right,anything that has happened
  after 1991 with the WBTS, especially something in a kingdom ministry,
  I am unaware of. Alot has changed in that amount of time.

  Stephanus, yes i still think it's deception! But after Gopher's
  and JT's post, I understand how the site came to be.

  Gopher,
  If thats how this site came about, that makes some sense.

  i still feel there is a little bit of deception involved.
  I guess I'm the kind of person that if I peel the made in
  U.S.A. sticker off of a product,I dont want to see engraved
  underneath "made in China"

  My post was just a question to sastisify my curiousity,i hope no one takes it personally
  personally.
