Its about time this becomes a reality but online instead of printed on paper. Im imagining a satire site like the onion. we could collect the best stories and post them online.

In a flash of blinding light...
by terraly inone of the traits that is most endearing about a lot of witnesses is that they will not listen to logical arguments raised by family, friends, or *gasp* apostates, but they will listen to the most contrived and specious arguments that the writing dept.
can spew forth.. then in the style of swift, i submit a modest proposal for getting past these defenses:.
distribute an apostate watchtower issue.. we all know exactly how watchtowers look- the size, paper, style of artwork, and phrases used in the writing.

I think you could argue men without beards are trying to look more effeminate. You could compare it to shaving your legs or armpits. Their are stories of young men shaving to hide their age and fulfill fantasies of older men. This is far more realistic than the "tight pants" idea. Someone could easily use the typical watchtower rhetoric to show how not having a beard would be unchristian. The Greeks and the Egyptians all shaved and you could throw in something about many Greek men were homosexuals. It practically writes itself.

Someone who thinks I’m an elder:good afternoon brother. I am _______ and I work as a regular pioneer. I have always loved the ruling body, but I would like to increase my love more, but I do not know how. Can you help me?Me:I would suggest finding ways to make your preaching work more effective. You could research epistemology to understand what makes people of other religions believe what they believe. Many have an emotional attachment to their beliefs because they invested so much energy, time, and finances in them. Others have faulty logic. Research logical fallacies such as “straw man”, “false dichotomy”, and “begging the question”. Understanding reason will make you a more effective pioneer. -

We are giving too much power to the watchtower
by sinboi ini am just 17. many of you here are much older than me.. i do feel that offering advice here is like teaching my father how to fuck.
but seriously, i do see the problem here.
we are focusing more on the problem than the solution.. i have been reading mind power books for quite some time.

I would say the watchtower is more like a lion that stays in its cage. Your friends and family are in the cage as well. You have to convince them to come out without upsetting the lion.

We need the aggressive activists reaching the public. We need the passive activists reaching the JWs. This type of thing could be effective to first time visitors but would only enforce a persecution complex by those deep inside.

Its on Hulu. I think four episodes so far. I found out about it from SNL. I could totally believe a religion like that existing. It reminds me a bit of the Quiverfull movement.

Is anyone familiar with james randi? Hes a magician that has shown how easily scientists can be tricked. scientists tend to study real experiments and dont usually focus on how to fake an experiment. Some may only focus on the bark let alone miss the forest from the trees. Sometimes it is useful to see counterfeits so not to be fooled.
