  the respondants brief in the candace conti case - is that leaked document available elsewhere - is the public allowed to read it or is it supposed to not be available freely?.

  important urgent question - hope i can get an answer!

  Unlike the previous case (HG11558324) before the Alameda County Court in California, in which documents could be downloaded from the court's web site once they were published, documents relating to the current case (A136641) before the Appellate Court, can not be downloaded from the court's web site.   Czech General Kovanda Arrested

  Neccova was collaborating with people from the Jehovah's Witnesses

  Speaking through his lawyer, General Kovanda, who was also arrested, said he believed at the time the operation to follow the prime minister's wife was in the interests of national security.

  But his orders came from Ms Nagyova, rather than his superiors in the defence ministry...

  Police accuse Ms Nagyova of asking military spies to tail Mr Necas's estranged wife. It is thought she cajoled friends in Czech military intelligence to find incriminating information on Mrs Necasova.

  Eduard Bruna, Ms Nagyova's lawyer, has denied this, saying his client was worried the prime minister's wife had fallen under the influence of Jehovah's Witnesses.

  "Necesova was collaborating with people from the Jehovah's Witnesses, and had begun to collect money for presents for some people," said Mr Bruna. "My client thought this merited an investigation and surveillance.

  Details of the investigation, which began with a raid on the seat of government in the early hours of Thursday (13 June), have on ly emerged in fragmentary fashion, but the investigation appears to be following three strands.
  
  One line of inquiry is into a decision by Necas's aide, Jana Nagyová, to ask the head of military intelligence, Ondrej Páleník, to tap the phone calls of Necas's wife. The surveillance was continued under Páleník's successor, Milan Kovanda. Kovanda told a court on Friday, before being released on bail after admitting his role, that he thought he was acting to protect the prime minister. Details of a statement given by Nagyová to police have given the Czech media space to infer that Nagyová, who had worked with Necas since 2004, was romantically involved with the prime minister. However, her lawyer said yesterday that she wanted to prevent a scandal if it emerged that Necas's wife had joined the Jehovah's Witnesses...

  Watchtower's April 9 BOE Confidentiality Letter - Child Abuse - Did Jane Doe lawsuit play a major part?

  i'd bet my left.... pinky toe that the wt's monster 4/9 confidentiality letter was put out as a direct result of the jane doe/candace vs wt case as they were preparing to go to trial.

  there had already been a year of legal proceedings - surely the wt knew the shit was about to hit the fan.. thanks goes to atlantis for posting the boe letters originally as pdfs.

  the person that a restraining order is a personal legal matter that does not involve the congregation.. thereafter, the elders should call the legal department immediately for direction..

  Watchtower's Billion Dollars of Property Cannot Be Sold until Outcome of Conti Appeal

  30 minutes ago i just got off the phone with some important players in this case, and some things were relayed to me concerning a lot of details of the outcome of the last two days of court.

  i am passing this on.

  cynthia hampton, one of the main players in the candace conti case (and a close friend of 28 years), just informed me of a further, far more powerful move by the state of california against the watch tower bible and tract society of new york, inc.. by order of the superior court of the state of california - county of alameda (see documents below), until the watch tower's appeal, which won't begin until august 13th and will take up to two years to settle due to due process of law, has forbidden the watch tower to sell any more of its $1 billion in assets in the borough of brooklyn until the appeals case is finished, to assure they won't shelter their monies in the light of this most huge and devastating sexual abuse scandal ever to hit the watch tower society, and perhaps any other single-victim lawsuit.
