Why is the Watchtower "soft" on China?

the wt preaches that reaching everyone on the planet is so important, yet they barely have a footprint in china.
if saving lives was so important, why do they not aggressively proselytize in china?

whilst driving to work this morning listening to the radio, my ears pricked when the presenter began talking about jws.
it was on a programme which airs between 8.00 and 8.30 entitled am, and broadcast on the abc national radio.

Height of mountains before and after the flood .
by smiddy3 init was stated many years ago in answer to how did the flood cover the top of all the mountains on earth in noah`s day.?.

and it was explained away by saying that the mountains before the flood were a lot smaller / lower than the mountains that exist today.. so there was no problem .. when the deluge began with so much volume of water now covering the earth ( water being heavy ) pushed down into the weakest parts of the earth and raised up in other parts of the earth to where we now have higher mountains than existed before the flood of noah`s day.. in other words mount everest didn`t exist at its present height before the flood and neither did any other high mountain that exists today ,the topography all changed with the noachian flood.

smiddy3 - I remember those days, but as I see it now the JWs made mountains out of mole hills.
As group of desert dwellers in the Middle East, some 5,000 years ago, who worshipped a desert god that they themselves created, would have no concept of the Himalayan mountains and therefore would make no reference to them. The rest is history...

the trial court summarized the facts as alleged by the plaintiff as follows:.
at the time of the judicial committee, plaintiff was fifteen years old.

Corney - I’m not sure about your comment/statement about “evil Mormon judges [who] want to make religion immune from scrutiny and liability” - an utterance that could hold you in Contempt of Court and facing the likelihood of a prison sentence were it a Supreme Court hearing in Australia - but I do appreciate the update.
Good description on IIED. I believe that the use of the scriptures, by a corporation, to bully people is a classic example.

Today, marking the second anniversary of the Australian National Apology to Victims and Survivors of Institutional Child Sexual Abuse, the Prime Minister of Australia has announce in Federal Parliament the intention to place sanctions against the Jehovah’s Witnesses in relation to child sexual abuse.
QUOTE FROM PRIME MINISTER:
The Royal Commission [into Institutional Response to Child Sexual Abuse], the [National] Apology [to Victims and Survivors of Institutional Child Sexual Abuse] and these yearly reports are about accountability: bringing the truth into the light ... We still have, reprehensibly, four institutions that have been named publicly and that have blatantly refused to join the redress scheme. They are Jehovah's Witnesses ... It's not acceptable. We're currently finalising the further sanctions, that I know are supported by the opposition, that the Commonwealth will place on institutions who continue to refuse to join the scheme, including withdrawal of their charitable status for these offending organisations.

How Often is 1914 Openly Spoken of at the Meetings?
by Number 6 inas someone who left in 1991 aged 21, one of my overriding memories of growing up in the watchtower was being able to "prove" the end times by referencing 1914.. major change in 95 then again after that.
if i'm being honest i could not even tell you now what the current teaching is.. for those who still attend the meetings, is it still openly spoken about?
i genuinely curious as i wonder if the teaching will be altogher dropped eventually, and one of the easiest ways to achieve that is to stop speaking about it.
