Hmmm. I wonder who's buried under this pyramid!
Here's a clue: The resident, a strong believer in pyramidology, believed that when he died his spirit would go to heaven?
it interesting to find out that the book of the dead also called the pyramid text which dates back to 1500 bce is most likely where christianity gets its origins.
the egyptians believed that when one died his spirit or one aspect of it would go to heaven then return to the resurrected body.
the body was mummified to prepare it for the resurrection and all organs taken out of it except the heart.

out with consequences: a journey out of jehovah's witnesses .
paperback february 1, 2015 .
i'm sure someone somewhere has asked this question, but along with the contempt written on morris face i've also noticed the club ring.
im sure you've all noticed it.
does anyone have any insider information on the gold rings they where?
One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them,
One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
someone mentioned "jehovahs chariot is on the move" on another topic and i immediately had flashbacks to those articles where they tried to explain how a chariot could have wheels that went in every direction and also had eyes, something idiotic.. i had a chuckle because the image that then popped into my head when i thought about those wheels going every direction was not one of those clever honda devices with the clever wheel thingy - no, it was a supermarket trolley.
you know the ones where one or two of the wheels wobbly and have a mind of their own and typically want to veer off suddenly into an elaborate display of tinned food?.
that is jehovahs chariot as driven by the governing body.
Always reminds me of this:
the updated article on the "fds" makes several changes although it still lists the article/entry as if it had come from the 1988 edition of insight on the scriptures, vol.
(1co 3:2, 5; 4:1, 2; compare mt 4:4.
at the same time the individual members making up such composite body, or the domestics making up the house of god (mt 24:45; heb 3:6; eph 2:19), would also be recipients of the food dispensed.
The changes are also online.
just to let everyone know our website is back online after being offline for the past few days.
no conspiracy, no shut-down, no attack from watchtower attorneys.
just our plain stupid oversight.

JW LEAKS
i have former jws looking at jwfacts.com in order to update themselves with what is happening with the religion, so that they can better understand their jw family.
it thought it would help if there was a page devoted to what has changed since 2000. .
2012 oct release of jw.org - jws encouraged to download their own publications and use ipads at meetings and field service.
Apostates were "mentally diseased." A changed to these words in the Revised New World translation.
Comparison:
Watchtower, July 15, 2011 "Apostates are mentally diseased...(1 Tim 6:3,4)"
New World translation Reference Bible (1984) - 1 Timothy 6:4 - "mentally diseased"
Revised New World translation (2013) - 1 Timothy 6:4 - "obsessed"
The word "obsessed" nullifies the below comment found in the Watchtower July 15, 2011 if the new revised version of the bible was used:
Suppose that a doctor told you to avoid contact with someone who is infected with a contagious, deadly disease. You would know what the doctor means, and you would strictly heed his warning. Well, apostates are "obsessed," and they seek to infect others with their disloyal teachings. (1 Tim. 6:3, 4) Jehovah, the Great Physician, tells us to avoid contact with them. We know what he means, but are we determined to heed his warning in all respects?
i am a big tennis fan and today i watched serena williams win the australian open, one of the four tournaments which make up the pinnacle of achievement in the tennis world, the grand slam.
in her victory speech the first thing she said was that she thanked her god jehovah for the victory.
now i know that rumours have circulated for a long time as to whether she is a baptised witness or not, but she is definitely associated with witnesses .
as the title of the thread says, i woke up this morning realizing more than ever that we should, each and every one of us, live for today and what we can accomplish today, rather than constantly looking toward the future.. i'm not implying we shouldn't make plans, plans are healthy and advisable, especially if you have healthy commitments.. but i realized the reason why nothing in my life ever seems to get done, is because i put things off, and look ahead 10 years down the line, then a few days later realize how much work needs to be put into that said task, then i don't do anything.
and so the cycle seems to repeat itself.. what i think i'm trying to say is that worthwhile endeavors that have a reward at the end, but take many years to get there, need to be challenged one day at a time.
i now understand that to get to where we want to be 10 years down the line, we need to focus on today and the hard work that needs to be out into a task one day at a time.
i am looking for as many scans of boe letters as i can find; pm me if you have a link.. .
