  My son won his first Taekwondo tournament (picture included)!

  it was the kinderkicks division and he competed against one other little boy but he won first place!

  i am so proud of him but more importantly, he is very proud of himself.

  i hesitated to enter him in the contest but he wanted to so bad and the way they divide up the kids, everyone takes home a trophy.

  How much do you tip and why?

  i am a waitress at a pizzeria/italian restaurant.

  overall i get really good tips but sometimes it seems like the customers are going to tip a certain amount no matter what i do.

  i can totally screw up a table and still get a great tip and other tables i give perfect service to and get a lousy tip.

  I am a waiter/waitress's dream. I was there for many years and I know how hard it is and how badly it sucks.

  Even if the service isn't the greatest- they probably just dealt with a huge table of drunken assholes who didn't tip so I give them the benefit of the doubt and tip them well anyway.

  oh my god that was so sad! that poor doggie brought two bones- one for him and one for her. that bitch!!

  yay for bridgestone tires...if that driver hit the poor dog i would have hunted him down and beat his ass. six- that commercial almost made me cry

  these do not seem to be the subject of "verbal" abuse or self-resignation, but they just, well...vanished!

  i don't understand the logic of boycotting the dixie chicks because of the comments the singer made about being ashamed that bush is from texas.

  it doesn't make sense to me.

  keep in mind that i'm just a canadian, so maybe i'm just not tuned in to the american way of thinking.

  At this point I find myself laughing at this thread because, well, who cares? hahahaha... I guess if you want to be really rude and alienate people over the freaking Dixie Chicks, knock yourself out.

  Personally I don't care one way or the other about this debate, but I do like the people posting on this thread so when I see someone getting dogged for stating an innocent opinion I get irritated and speak up. In the grand scheme does this debate really matter? Is it worth making enemies over?
