  i come to you with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes.

  tuesday 27th may 2003 at 12.30 am, i misscarried my first baby.

  our two eldest sons and their wives went to las vegas for the week today.

  i have the 2 year old son of one son and the 14 year old daughter of the other son, for the week (until friday).

  the girl (carlie) is an absolute dream, so helpful and has a great personality, but she goes to school everyday.

  i heard about this on the news earlier, i only caught the tail end of the report.

  what i dont understand is why she did it.

  why she was only charged with child endangerment and not attempted murder?

  oh, and who was the freaking genius who decided to make a front loading washer with a lock that doesn't open until the cycle finished???

  My guess would be somebody who didn't think it would be a good thing to flood your laundry room floor when you decided to open the door mid-cycle.
