  sitting behind my computer a few mornings ago, i was doing the share of reading that i do on a daily basis, sipping my coffee, minding my own, when an instant message appeared on my screen.

  call it second nature, i responded as i usually do.

  in answer to your question, as I was typing that sentence I was thinking that same thing. I thought to myself, 'I get messages from my friends and I get porn offers. Additionaly, I get porn offers from my friends. Hmmmmm...'

  However, to secure the illusion of being a delicate flower, I decided against letting everyone know that I am a true deviant at heart and so is the company that I keep.

  Hey you guys,

  I went and got myself a new job. I'll try my damnedest to get up there that weekend because I do really want to hang out with you all. I'm not clear on my work situation for that weekend, but I will do my best and let you know what's up as soon as I find out.

  I'm disappointed because I really want it to work out and I hate not knowing if it will or not. Keeping my fingers crossed! (Damn those jobs- always throwing a wrench into my plans.)

  Seriously though, were they harassing you? Did they say things that made you wonder if they were looney tunes? If so, I would question this person's motives. If not, they probably just thought you were a person with some interesting ideas and wanted to get to know you a little better.

  I've never had this happen to me. The only instant messages I get besides my friends is porn offers.
