Speaking of kids.... I have four. Jenni, age 23, Robyn, age 22 who's married to Chris and has my granddaughter Laura, age 2, and also about to give birth in October to Casey (boy). I also have Jaime, age 17, who just spent a month with me here in Australia. She left two days ago and I've been bawling my eyes out ever since. She's going back to finish her senior year in Missouri. And I also have Katie-Rose, age four, here in Perth with me. All girls, all very pretty.

Would like opinions
by Kismet inas i have posted previously i am inactive but have disappeared from the ranks quietly.
my jw family know nothing of my departure from the org except that i am not as "zealous" as i once was for the org.. here's the dilemna, my sister's mother in law (a jw) is dying of cancer.
(the docs say she could go today, this week, in two weeks..they just don't know) she is a phenomenal caring person and has always been a kind gentle soul with all she has met.

HI there, Kis. Visit is over as of this morning. I put her on a plane about 2 hours ago. :-( I'm in official mourning for my little one now. I'm sure going to miss her! It's kind of like the official end to her childhood with me. She will graduate high school this year and is planning on getting married shortly after that. So it was bittersweet, you know? sob sob
Big hugs to ya. As usual, we do think alike!

Hi Kis,
Here's my .02. You don't have to play by the ORG's rules. That's THEIR problem. This lady believes in you as a person, not as a JW, you see? You are her friend. She wants you as a person to say that prayer for her. I would have NO bad conscience about doing so. If there is truly a loving God up there, I can bet he would listen to YOUR prayers alot quicker than he would listen to the hypocrites who would dare to condemn you! My sympathies in the loss of your dear friend, btw.
Big hugs,

Hi Waiting,
I've been enjoying my daughter's visit. She's been here from the USA for the past month and goes back home early in the morning. :-( So I'll be back around more after I do the major housecleaning that I've left while she's here!
Frenchy,
Glad to hear you're ok! Hope to see you around here more soon!
Hugs,

To Waiting:
It sure does make it all worthwhile. I hadn't seen my daughter in nine months and I was certainly thrilled to see her again!

HI there! The Cat checking in. Been on an 11 day trip to north Australia and getting ready to go south for another few days! My 17 year old daughter Jaime is here visiting since July 3rd and goes home Aug 3rd so you probably won't see much of me till then. But I'm reading when I can! Thanks for the concern, it is TRULY appreciated!
Hugs,

Call 911-Fire-Fire -don't do it!
by spectromize infor all of you who are thinking about da or df, my advice is don't do it.
you are falling into a trap that the wt has set for any who disagree with them.
wouldn't it be much more productive if everyone who left, held on to their status even if they didn't go to the hall and exposed some of the bull****t ?.

HI Andyman,
I've posted to another message board I'm on to try to get another copy of the letter. It is one that keeps them from telling anyone that you are DA'd or DF'd with legal repercussions if they do. It's a really good letter. I'll post it if I can get my hands on it again, and let everyone critique it. :-)
I do tend to agree with Frenchy though. I'm still considered "inactive" as far as I know. I have some friends still "in", who tell me the rumors flying around about me. Since I now live 11,000 miles away from where I attended meetings, I don't hear the rumors unless someone tells me. But it's a hoot when I do hear about it!
Cheers,
RCAT
