Hmm, a good male friend of mine says the tender meat is closer to the bone.

Why would a woman want to look like that?
by TD ini was leafing through a diet and exercisie magazine my wife subscribes to and noticed (not for the first time) that the female fitness models don't look like women at all.
--they look like anorexic teenaged boys with long hair.. skinny to the point of emaciation is not fit.
i would be willing to bet that not one of these models could even run a 10k.

Not all women are thin because they starve themselves and it isn't only overweight women that are made to feel bad because they do not measure up to society's standards.
I was thin and had delicate features growing up. And even though middle age is causing changes, I am still not fat.
I have never had a problem with attracting men and have had fat voluptuous women tell me straight out they do not understand why men are attracted to me. I've had women tell me that I needed to eat because I was too thin--never realizing that I ate like a horse because I had a high metabolism. And yes, thin people can be healthy.
Forget the gays in the fashion industry. Women need to learn to stop comparing themselves to each other and putting each other down, especially over something so silly as breeding rights. Believe me, there are enough men to go around.
I resent this thread completely and wholeheartedly. It seems silly to me that a man would start something like this. Dammit, thin women have feelings too.
~end rant~

Don't buy anything at the meat market or yard sales or else you could turn out like me?
by dissed ini don't know how this happened and how they met, but a relative, a jw elder and my old po talked about us leaving the wts.
(he said this to my wife).
they reasoned, how could someone, who was a pioneer, bethelite, worked at the rbc, district and circuit level, taught at the pioneer school, helped dozens to baptism, suddenly and inexplicably, leave jehovah's organization?.

All Aircraft grounded in the UK, France, Holland and Denmark
by llbh inbecause of a large plume of dust being blown to the uk by a volcanic eruption in iceland all aircraft in the uk and beyond have been grounded, no airplanes are flying at all, they will not be flying till tommorow at the earliest , and then maybe not.
apparently the dust can cause engines to stall, which has happened before.. heathrow is the busiest international airport in the world, and second busiest overall, the dislocation of passengers all over the world is massive.. .

Mortgage crisis and increased consumer spending
by PrimateDave ini just read this piece at financial armageddon: .
more about that 'healthy' consumer spendingi've highlighted posts at the market ticker, business insider's the money game, and housingwire which have suggested that one reason why americans can afford to keep on spending in the face of 20 percent underemployment and stagnant incomes is because many of them have decided to stop paying the mortgage.. now, yves smith, publisher of another one of my daily must-read blogs, naked capitalism, and author of econned, a great new book on how we got into the mess we are in, is also weighing in on the subject.
in the following excerpt from "strategic defaults increase consumer spending," yves reveals some of the eye-opening tidbits that others have passed along to her:.

I just find it incomprehensible that the mortgage lenders are either unwilling or unable to promptly follow through with foreclosures and evictions.
PDave, It isn't that they are unwilling to foreclose, it's just that there are so many foreclosures and they are overwhelmed.
Cult Classic is correct. Foreclosures lower the value of the neighborhood. Also, once the banks foreclose, they are responsible for the upkeep of the house and property.

4 to 8 minutes? Screw that. When I need a cloud split, I need it split NOW!
LOL @ Mad. It doesn't take 4 to 8 minutes. If you can focus, it can be done in a minute, two minutes tops. Sometimes it doesn't even take that long.

hmmm, I work in bankruptcy. And in the midwest it is very difficult to get the banks to modify your mortgage, let alone give you some of the sweet deals that are described above. Although not on the west coast, it smells fishy to me, a person in the trenches.
