BP, you are correct. In my first post I tried to point out the HUSBAND is the one at fault here. And like you, I am sick of society always condemning the "other woman" as if she is the one responsible for leading a fully grown man around by his dick. You cant lead a man around by his penis unless he first decides to place it in your hand.

Question for the men
by SafeAtHome ini'd like the input of the guys, maybe some of you who have been married or in a serious relationship for some time.
if you were having an affair and your wife found out about it, would you want her to tell you she knew?
would it serve a purpose, that is, make you end the affair, or on the other hand, push it over the edge to be with the other person?

LOL @ SAH. Yeah, marital misconduct is a funny term, but an important one. And if it all goes down, don't forget you may also be entitled to some alimony.

SAH:
I guess I am a coward. Nothing to lose but the way of life I am used to and a roof over my head. But I am sure most of you would say, well is this the type of life I want to live?
But you may lose that way of life and roof anyway, as I found out. The advice I gave you was the advice I should have taken. Like you, I waited. It all went to hell anyway.
I really hope it turns out well for you. If not, dont forget you get half and possibly more of the assests. What your husband is doiing could be considered marital misconduct, even in a no fault divorce state. The courts frown upon marital misconduct.

Sometimes men and women cheat for nothing more than an ego trip. They can excuse or justify their actions but it's still an ego trip.
You can bring this person coffee in bed, go down on them long and often, and tell them they are they are wonderful and they will still cheat. They cheat because there just isn't enough attention in the world to make them feel valuable and powerful. To compensate this perceived lack, they seduce. And they do it over and over again. Each seduction makes them feel powerful and sexy for a few minutes, a couple of hours, maybe a week or two. Then their low self esteem needs to be boosted once more. And so the seduction begins anew.
Are you sure your husband has been emotionally and physically faithful to you throughout your marriage?
If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't him ask why. The reasons your husband may use to justify his affair really have nothing to do with you and don't let him tell you that they do. Even though you may have problems in your marriage, it is still your husband who chose to respond this way. Divorce him. Talk half the assets you are entitled to and go forward without fear, my dear.
Much love to you.

Shamus, I am not sure if my neighbor is homophobic or not. But tearing her face off could only make her prettier.

Shamus,
What? You don't like a good party? I throw some pretty good ones.
If you come, I will make you a banana pudding and allow you to tear the face off my bothersome and idiotic neighbor.

What keeps you going after your exit from the Watchtower Society?
by Awen ini am curious as to what you first did when you left the watchtower society's mind control cult.. did you try to find friends who had gotten out also?
did you go to school (college/university)?.
how different was the "world" you now found yourself in compared to living in jw-land?.

There is so much to do in life. Why would anybody have to find something to keep them going after leaving the WTS? Just have fun and live your life.
I made friends, took some college courses, went to parties, joined social clubs, got into politics, worked on campaigns, drove old people to the voting booth, endulged my artistic side, celebrated holidays and had a great time. Worldly people are no better and no worse than JWs. Some are fun and trustworthy. Some are a drag and not worth the bother.

I would like to take this time to invite BP and Farkel over to my house for mixed drinks and h'ordeuvres. Let's throw a party and drink to the point where we're all saying, "I luv ya, man!"
And, of ccourse, everybody else is invited too.
