That is why we have blacklisted your IP address. Now you cannot join with any made up name. And that is why we ask for your congregation when you try to join. So we can verify that you really are a true Jehovah's Witness.JTrottigy

Here is what silly looks like
by Sour Grapes infor shits and grins, i looked at an online sunday meeting a few days ago on youtube.
i was in disbelieve on just how silly everything looks with the watchtower reader reading from his little iphone and the watchtower conductor holding up his iphone to ask the questions.
then the conductor asked the reader to read a bible verse and of course, he reads from his little phone.

The Latest Thing Waking People Up...
by pale.emperor insince i woke up and left i've been contacted by others i knew from my youth who've also left the cult.
also people around the world on facebook adding me out of the blue because we have mutual friends and they occasionally ask me stuff or share their story.. what i've noticed in the vast majority of cases, is that people are waking up not because of the arc or doctrine but apathy.
active jws are becoming less and less interested, less and less bothered.

Funny ,some mentioned about Tony Morris. My die-hard JW mother can't stand him,lol I heard her tell this to my brother and his wife. Of course, she felt guilty for feeling that way.
She should feel guilty for speaking abusively of one of the Glorious Ones. I really like the way Brother Morris lays it on the line in plain terms so there is no chance of misunderstanding what he said! There should be more Jehovah's Witnesses just like him.

11 new things made illegal in a relationship
by Amelia Ashton ini was subjected to more than one of these whilst married.
a partner should be treated as an equal.
i wonder how that will work out in a jw household?.

More proof that the world is in the power of the Devil.
God's people would never be charged with any of these "crimes" as they always apply Bible laws to their lives.

Welcoming Our Latest JW Apologist JTrottigy
by pale.emperor ini'd like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome our newest jw apologist jtrottigy.
.
he'll likely only be here for a few days like most jw defenders before he runs away when presented with his own doctrine.. so far he's already said some hilarious stuff, like "there's no such thing as nepotism in jehovah's organisation", "confidentiality is paramount to elders" and, my personal favourite "the overlapping generation is so simple to understand".. yh don't think i don't remember you from jwtalk..

Oh, but I am still around. I have just been so busy. I am doing all I can for Jehovah and it is paying off. I am happy to report that I am now approved for cart witnessing. Perhaps some off us will meet in person? I look forward to that. Thanks for welcoming me to this site, as now I can compare what I know with what I read here.

The 'IN' families
by punkofnice inone thing i don't miss about being a jobo, is those families that ruled the congregations.. i've seen how the elders protected their own using our old friend, nepotism.. eg.
the son of an elder that stole a car and was prosecuted but 'let off' because it was kept secret and all his relatives were elders in the same congregation.
it certainly went on when i was an elder but i wasn't one of the 'in' crowd.

If this was a regular rank and file member, he would have being shunned for a lot longer and never given back any of his privileged that quickly.
I don't think you have the full story. Unless you were on the Judicial Committee there is no way you could. Confidentiality is of paramount importance, and he cannot foll Jehovah's Holy Spirit. No one can!

Concerned Parent
by ConcernedParent ini'm writing for some advice from former jws.
my family is christian, and my 15yo daughter is "dating" a jw boy.
(the quotes are because they aren't old enough to actually go out on dates... they consider themselves bf/gf and have hung out and gone places with each other, but always with parents, family, etc.

Dating is wrong for Jehovah's people unless they are both baptized and exemplary, and they must be old enough to legally marry. Pretty simple to obey.

Nepotism? There is no such thing in Jehovah's organization. It is just disgruntled people who use that as an excuse for their own failings.
