My entire family is in. I go to not cause a strain on our relationship. There is not much the watchtower teaches that I think is truth.

Why do you still go to meetings?

Well everything that is done is more evidence that Jehovah is advancing his organization. Everyone sees this move as God wants his headquarters moved so it won't be near all the destruction of Armageddon. When the people that believed this get older and die the newer witnesses won't know the buzz that the move created and will carry on as normal. I personally think the move will be more cost effective and save money. They can sell all their buildings for a billion dollars, build a brand new state of the art facilility just the way they want it for five hundred million and now they have five hundred million dollars to play with. I bet that creates a very deep cushion to operate with for quite a few years. Why do they need all the real estate they have, well that's easy, because they say they need it.

Splash no they won't even think about it. The GB has done a good job of convincing JWs that changes in doctrine are a good thing. When something changes the light gets brighter is repeated endlessly. No one gives any consideration to the question I raised to stand for pure worship. As you can see stand for pure worship is not attempting to explain it and if he does it will only open up more problems that need answers.

And I repeat for Stand for Pure Worship. Please explain the process of the GB communicating to us from Jehovah that the end will come before the generation that saw 1914 passes away, and that not end up being true. Please explain why Jehovah communicated that to them? Did he lie?

What Was Your First Experience In Exposing Yourself To "Apostasy"?
by minimus inas a young teenager, i would look at "apostate" books at the city library.
i was always intrigued as to what was sooo bad and other than a few writings of some that seemed like they hated the witnesses, i would clandestinely look at literature, especially in "christian" bookstores.. it took years for me to finally disconnect.
i will say that ray franz' books enlightened me the most!.

Where Do I Go Now?
by individual inwith all the problems in the 'truth' and all the things that we know are wrong with it there seems to be aspects of their theology (i.e the sequences of the world powers, statue in daniel, the promise of world restoration again found in daniel) that to me still make sense.
although i cannot follow a religion that believes in the destruction of all humanity barring those that respond to their own preaching work i still believe in a creator and cannot accept the teachings of other religions that have no purpose for the earth and believe that mankinds only destiny is in heaven.
my mind keeps telling me that if god was behind a religion it would be so much better than that of the jws.

by Farkel in"i'm perfect, you're doomed" by kyria abrahams, 2009, touchstone.. if you want a way to get people out of that horrible cult, easily, quickly and expeditiously, then here is how to do that.. i can say with a vote of confidence that anyone who reads this book will never and i mean never become a dub.
dubs who read it (assuming they have at least one or two brain cells left) will run from their religion like flies on shit when you pour bleach on it and blow it up with dynamite.. toss away crisis of conscience, apocalypse delayed, 30 years a watchtower slave and all those other very nice books and read this one.
i read those and all the other ones.
