  I recently finished a book written by Bryan "Have you seen my mother?" It is a sad, but powerful story of a child of 2 years old being kidnapped by his father who is an elder in the Watchtower. The deceptions and lies he tells Bryan for thrity years. He takes you on his journey to search for his mother who is no longer a Witness who is also searching for him. Bryan must sift through the lies of his witness family as he is told that his mother is dead. It's a sad, but powerful story of the length that Witnesses go to in the name of Jehovah.   M.J. The things that gave me problems with when I was an elder and conducting the "Rev. Grand Climax" book was that all the visions and prophecies seemed to all point to the WTBTS. From the seven trumpet blasts being the seven proclamation at Cedar point Ohio, to the horses being the message we gave out in the form of publications to the two witnesses being the leaders of the Org. who were imprisoned. I couldn't imagine that John was invisioning this one Org. Also the scripture that says that "I am the Alpha and the Omega.....The Almighty. Verses before that and after spoke of Jesus, but the only explaination the book gave was "Wonder upon wonders, Jehovah now speaks.

  Cybs--The article was very well done and very accurate. When I had my booksigning where I live, Three newspapers covered my story of the book. Although I was interviewed, they did get some things wrong and were a little misleading. The article, I feel was one of the best and most accurate. Pamela quoted from my book many times and what I wrote in my book was exactly the way everything happened.My book was meant to be only written for my family to read at some later date when they might be ready. It was meant to be published. I wanted it to be accurate so that they could know what happened behind those closed doors.

  Thank you all for your kind remarks. One of you said that my story is only one out of millions. How true that statement is. My story is not the usual bashing of the Org. but an honest look at the consequences that come from not comforming to their many errors.

  it is my hope this story will help others know what motivates a person to join a cult and what motivates a person to leave.. "truth or consequences" is a true love story of two young people who faced many obstacles as they proved their love for each other before they became jehovah's witnesses.

  they believed their love and loyalty for the watchtower organization was the only way to show their love for god.

  WOW!!! I am sitting here shocked to see this on your board. I did not know that Randy was going to do this, and I want to think Randy for putting it here. I have it on Randy's site, and a few others, but am very pleased that he thought so highly of the book to let all of you know of it. I've had some very good feed-back from ex-witnesses who have read it. Three local newspapers ran a story about it, which I am very grateful for. Those who have read it say that it is not so much a bashing of the Organization as it is about what the Organization does to a good relationship, which my wife and I had for thirty years. Thanks to you for your order and your comment too.

  Dfd and looking toward re-instatment

  i have been dfd since i turned 19, i aux, pioneered for a short time and then selfishly went after the fruits of the flesh.

  smoking, sex, drinking, drugs, etc.... the thing i couldn't, or wouldn't, see at the time was that i was acting selfishly.

  it didn't matter what others in the cong.

  I had been a witness since 1969. I was a ministerial servant, then an elder. My wife had pioneered for about 15 years and my daughter pioneered since she graduated high school. My son is married and is a ministerial servant. We had a great marriage of 30years and had no reason for upsetting what seemed to be a perfect well-respected theocratic family. While conducting the study in the Revelation book, I could see how something didn't seem right. John's prophecies all seemed to apply to the WT and the faithful slave. The seven trumpets John saw was the 7 proclamations at the 7 assempblies from 1922 to 1928. The hail was the hard-hitting messages we were proclameing. The vehicles were the publications and on and on. I decided to begin an investigation and it led to our belief in the 144,000. I won't go into it here but if you want what I learned you can e-mail me at [email protected]. The elders were only interested in have me be loyal to whatever the Wt says. One C.O. told me that if the Faithful slave is wrong, they will answer to Jah. but I will be blessed for being loyal to the org. I told the elders that the scriptures says that we are each personally accountable to Jah. One thing led to another and when I saw they were going to DF me I gave them my letter of DA. 3 months later while I was at work, many in the cong. came to my house and moved my wife and daughter out of my house to an undisclosed location. I have not seen them or my son and only granddaughter in 3 years. I know that they are told to hate all who leave the org. not even to pray for them. I use to believe that all was done for Gods glory and any who leave were wicked people who leave Jehovah. I have a much deeper love for God today and an understanding of Grace than I ever did in the Wt. What has happened to me is not unique. Anyone who questions the teachings of the WT is subject to discipline. I would suggest that you find something, even the smallest of a difference you have with the WT, be it the holidays, birthdays, wearing a beard, blood issue and see what happens to you. You can have no freedom of thought in the WT and I think you know that.

  Dear Brothers,

  I have a question which no one has been able to answer for me thus far. It has been causing me a great deal of distress and worry. I hope you can help.
  
  This is my problem: My hair line has been receding lately thus causing my forehead to appear progressively higher. On the other hand, however, I appear to be getting progressively balder. Pastor Russell told us that a high forehead indicated a higher degree of intelligence and Brother Rutherford said in the finished mystery book on page 165 that bald headed people have excess gas trapped in the brain due to clogged follicles thereby causing them to be confused.

  My question is: Am I getting progressively more intelligent or progressively more confused. Can you understand my dilemma and can you help me.

  Can you, also, advise me if there is a point on the head that intelligence stops and stupidity begins and where that spot is.

  This question has got me very CONFUSED. Oh no! It's startin to happen.
